  2. Rather than bow out, I shared relevant advice: Say it once, say it well, then let it stand. JRoss said "Done is better than perfect." GWN said "Perfect is always better than done. Always. Every single time." Both are right, depending on the context, and neither is universally true. These are facts of life. "Done" suits iterative, low-risk, or time-sensitive scenarios. "Perfect" fits high-stakes, precision-driven, or reputation-critical tasks. As this debate drags on unnecessarily, more advice applies: Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience. Do not answer a fool according to his folly, or you yourself will be just like him.
  3. Welp, I think this is the nail in the coffin for the “he was a leftist” argument.
  4. No, I agree she doesn't look like Olivia Dunne. I'm simply making a point that looks are a huge part of endorsements, especially for young women. She's above-average looks for a woman in her mid-20s and that's huge when you're also the best basketball player in the world (I assume she's up there if she isn't). I think her endorsements are probably MUCH more than they'd otherwise be, based upon her looks. On the opposite end of the spectrum, what would her endorsements be if she were ugly? Hard to say exactly, but I'm thinking less than $1M instead of about $11M. Comparing her looks to Olivia Dunne is also not apples and oranges. Clark is playing a much more popular sport with women that have different body types from gymnasts. I guess a simple way to put it is that the bar is different for good looks to be able to help you bring in money.

  6. The World Gold CC won in 1981 was at 82KG (180lbs) as was the 1980 Olympic team spot he won. when he returned 10 years later to compete it was at 90kg (198lbs)
  7. i don't see how / even the most casual golfer can tune into any golf evet be it PGA ,LIV, corn ferry etc and immediately understand what they are watching/ most casual fans don't even understand folkstyle rules not sure it does / when you have a sport that is non-revenue bearing in college there is reason , the interest just isn't there
  8. Can add Duke to: “lost first match and won series”
  9. Hamilton is in the NFL now, Milano quit wrestling and is doing MMA, Mastro and McCrary idk what they are doing atp, Vandervere has 12 career matches in college, Picklo is going to NAIA, Jagger has 19 matches in his career against D1 guys and is 8-11. Just some crazy career paths in the top 30. Not anything against Willie, just shows how crazy the class as a whole was
  10. I thought Alejandro Herrera was going to win right away. Welsh was only a sophmore at the time and he was a senior but he was 5-0 against Welsh his senior year. He just seemed to have a college style.
  11. How many times have we heard the shooter left a manifesto but it’s not going to be released?
  12. Gun to your head would you rather decide a match by: Clinch or Ball grab?
  13. People have really lost their minds. I even saw some people on X doubting Boelter was even pro life because “being pro life is inconsistent with being a murderer”
  14. Brands knows what it's like to have his boys get lost in the sauce, his spot in the lineup is safe.
  15. Yesterday, Big Ten wrestling schools started posting their upcoming conference opponents for the 2025-26 season. Since the conference is so big, they are not able to wrestle every single conference foe, so there is some mystery as to who they wrestle and where. Of course, the Big Ten typically takes their sweet time to develop an actual conference schedule because of TV purposes and scheduling conflicts with basketball. I wouldn’t hold my breath on getting further information for a few more months. As of now, Illinois, Nebraska, Ohio State, and Rutgers have not released their conference opponents. Based on what has been released by other schools, we’ve put their partial list together. Those schools will be modified once their opponents have been released. Illinois (partial) Home: Indiana, Minnesota Away: Michigan, Michigan State, Purdue Indiana Home: Maryland, Michigan State, Nebraska, Purdue Away: Illinois, Ohio State, Penn State, Wisconsin Iowa Home: Michigan, Minnesota, Penn State, Wisconsin Away: Michigan State, Nebraska, Ohio State, Purdue Maryland Home: Minnesota, Ohio State, Penn State, Purdue Away: Indiana, Northwestern, Rutgers, Wisconsin Michigan Home: Illinois, Michigan State, Northwestern, Penn State Away: Iowa, Ohio State, Rutgers, Wisconsin Michigan State Home: Illinois, Iowa, Northwestern, Rutgers Away: Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Purdue Minnesota Home: Michigan State, Nebraska, Ohio State, Wisconsin Away: Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Rutgers Nebraska (partial) Home: Iowa, Northwestern, Purdue Away: Indiana, Minnesota, Penn State Northwestern Home: Iowa, Maryland, Penn State, Rutgers Away: Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Wisconsin Ohio State (partial) Home: Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Wisconsin Away: Maryland, Minnesota, Penn State Penn State Home: Indiana, Nebraska, Ohio State, Rutgers Away: Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, Northwestern Purdue Home: Illinois, Iowa, Michigan State, Wisconsin Away: Indiana, Maryland, Nebraska, Rutgers Rutgers (partial) Home: Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Purdue Away: Michigan State, Northwestern, Penn State Wisconsin Home: Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Northwestern Away: Iowa, Minnesota, Ohio State, Purdue
  16. I bet YOU KNOW who he voted for huh?
  17. Again I just stated a fact is all. It’s personal info that the snow plow guy gave out even though he says it’s stupid to give out personal information. Go figure. insults? You’re funny. It’s all you do. You got zero substance so you constantly play the moron card (which we all know you’ve got plenty of experience being a moron). And yes libtardo wokester terrorist loving wingers like you are what’s wrong with the world.
  18. Today
  19. Speaking of something from weeks ago.
  20. I don't know why Iowa didn't give AJ a 7th chance and certainly JW deserves a 5th & 6th chance.
  21. How about fifth chances?
  22. Let's not bring any form of the clinch back
  23. Looks like the Utah guy didn't shoot anyone and somebody jumped the gun (no pun intended) and thought he was a danger and shot at him and killed somebody by accident.
  24. It reminds of the old entry into Wide World of Sports. "The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat".
  25. For the record, I'm all for second (or third or fourth) chances.
