  1. Past hour
  2. He’s excited to compete. I can think of few weight classes as loaded as 138. Should be a great bracket.
  3. I think with Vince it may have been a drop in confidence, some guys can’t handle taking some loses in college while they figure it out and I always assumed that was the case with Vin. With Anthony who knows ,maybe he had an injury last year that we didn’t know about , I hope he finds his way back into the lineup
  4. You should read up on your history if you think that's the only killing you think he did.
  5. He came legally. Damn European bacteria. Amazingly he colonized the west in 4 voyages.
  6. A few weeks ago, we posted an article highlighting the ranked wrestlers who have already committed to wrestle at the next level and have registered to compete at the Super 32. Well, there’s been a ton of movement on the recruiting front since then, so we needed an update. There have been plenty of new commitments and a few flips in the interim. With so much talent headed to Greensboro, North Carolina for the tournament, it seems appropriate to look at the tournament from a collegiate perspective. Which squads have the most talent in the 2025 Super 32? We’ve combed through the entries and separated wrestlers via their future homes. The numbers next to a wrestler's name are their ranking within their respective recruiting class. 9. Incentivizing graduation rate would degrade academic integrity. Instead, incentivize schools to produce financially self-sufficient graduates. E.G. Based funding on the percentage of graduates who are not enrolled in government assistance programs within 12 months of graduation that are also paying income taxes.

  17. I agree. I think it's a very definite improvement. But there are always people (on all forums) who are devoted to being negative about all things, i.e., the whiners in this thread who have nothing better to do than whine about this.
  18. I just hope Little Rock finds its way to the Big 12 where it belongs. I hate having all these west coast affiliate teams in the Big 12
  19. I thought you guys hated immigrants that commit crimes?
  20. somebody is suddenly ok with less than perfection!!!
  21. Did he get lost, or did he bump into something that no one in Europe knew existed? Seems to me that he was headed in the right direction. He had many negative character traits by today's standards, but almost no one from 50 years ago would hold up to today's standards for ideal behaviors... now try 500 years ago. One thing I know, was that he was brave and his voyage changed the world. Also, quite a few great inventions happened by accident. BTW a lot of the inhabitants were also pretty good at killing and enslaving before Europe arrived.

  23. Is this why we all have those whole scars on our shoulders?

  25. About two months ago I posted the pools for the Journeyman Duals on the weekend of December 20th in Nashville. This not to be confused with the National Dual Invite (the big one that Okla St is hosting. Unfortunately there seems to be 3 different things that are subject to change. One of the three everyone still seems to be quite clueless on. 1- I believe there to be a change in two of the three pools from what I had initially posted. I find this amusing because what It is being changed to is what I originally had thought it could and should be prior to seeing otherwise on teams leaked schedules at the time. Because the National Duals invite has two of the teams that are partaking in the Journeyman duals (Illinois and Little Rock) facing off round 1...this and further evidence has me believing that those two teams have now been placed in separate pools at the Journeyman. When you take that and the original criteria of teams in pools all being in different conferences of each other, and not being on one another's schedule during the year, the pools are: Penn St -Stanford- NDSU this was always the same, all 3 teams confirm this on their schedule. None of the 3 were going to be going to National Dual invite Ohio St- Cornell- Little Rock Ohio St is in and Illinois out lowa St-Illinois -Lehigh Illinois is in and Ohio St out. 2- I was told that despite the event expanding from its previous annual 2 pools of 3 teams to 3 pools of 3 teams, it seems that we will end up seeing less, not more wrestling. I was initially told that at the conclusion of Day 1, there would be a day 2 like there had always been, where teams would compete in their new pools (all 2-0 teams in one, all 1-1 teams in one, and 0-2 teams in one). It seems that teams are looking to wrestle less and there may not be a day 2 any longer. At least not one consisting of new pools. This gateway into segment ... 3- Nobody seems to have a clue on exact date. Is it Saturday Dec 20th, Sunday December 21st or both? Penn St- Stanford -NDSU who are all in one pool show Sat Dec 20th on their schedule. For the 6 remaining teams, only Illinois shows 12/20 on their schedule while the other 5 show Sunday 12/21. Reason this is a big deal to me. and will be to other Cornell fans is because Cornell has 5 guys missing the first semester who will be eligible to wrestle on Sunday, but not on Saturday. (Greg Diakomahalis, Brett Ungar, Vince Cornella, Ethan Fernandez, Meyer Shapiro)). Any athlete not enrolled in the fall semester is eligible to wrestle the day following the last day of the semester. In other words the day after the schools last final. For Cornell that last exam just so happens to fall on Sat Dec 20th.
