  2. Nobody that was active this year at the weight could argue kyle,JB,KOT potentially I think JB medals against the same field and kyle wins that field not sure about KOT.
  3. Who is better than Levi, domestically, at 79 KG?
  4. Trent was never down 8-0.
  5. It could end up being like what Cardenas had to do this last season. They do their four, then transfer out for their last one. What would stop them from doing five, if they play the system? Only wrestle the last semester their Junior and Senior seasons, so they're still 'only' there for eight semesters? How is the rule actually written?
  6. I saw something of this the other day from Bielema (Illinois current HFC). I think if there is some sort of possibility that it could be a reality within the next few seasons, then the guys who can go now, should. Let the best man wrestle.
  7. Today
  8. whoa bad night! what exactly is a bowling slur an inanimate object falling over
  9. I dont think anything was more impressive than the overall performance by the Iranians. But that Hidlay comeback was awful close. I was truly impressed with the development displayed from Zahid. Hes a whole new animal.

  11. Obviously, the top guys are all training at the RTCs. But where are the average Joes going to train? I have been looking for places to scrap in NE Ohio with little luck. Is there a good place to search open mats? Thanks in advance.
  12. The right wants to
  13. little Jimmy shouldn't you be doing something else? It is a school night and the short bus comes early.
  14. FWIW CP says from talking to coaches, it sounds imminent, but it is definitely not official at this point.
  15. And per the United World Wrestling International Wrestling Rules it is officially referred to as "Activity Time" or "30 second activity period." Interestingly, the word "clock" is used nowhere in the rules, but I still refer to the action as "being put on the Activity clock."
  16. I find the idea of those places on the Internet mocking them in such a ridiculous way funny. If you've ever read any articles on ED they're pretty much written to be as offensive and trollish as possible. Given your obtuse style and trolling tendencies I'd have thought you'd laugh at similar work.
  17. Criteria to consider a wrestler as passive:  Evading attacks without counterattacks  Grapping opponent wrists without starting an attack  Attacking without any direct contact with the opponent  Regaining initial position right after beginning an attack  Fake attacks (Simulation)  Evading into and maintaining in the passivity zone  Avoiding the Wrestling in the center of the mat  Fixing his opponent in the passivity zone  No hooking despite good position  Defensive wrestling
  18. Well I know people will disagree, but I think the GOAT was Baumgartner. 13 World/Olympic medals. 5 Golds I believe. And John Smith 6 Golds being 2nd. But it’s a different era nowadays, so you can certainly make a case for JB, and for that matter SnyderMan. As for Helen, and Adeline, they are our greatest Women wrestlers, but the comparison between the Men’s and Women’s competition is light years different.
  19. It is not a shot clock. We just call it that. It is about passivity. Sidakov spent almost the entire time with one or both feet in the center circle. Carr backed up and circled around the outside. This will always earn you passivity warnings no matter how many failed shots you take. Both these passivity warnings were correct.
  20. Well with Raney, and Jacobson both getting two wins under their belts, it’s something to build on.
  21. Is this a new rule? Or is it just being discussed at this point? I thought it was the latter.
