I'm curious. Are you interested in wrestling at all, or are you just here to get in arguments and pretend to be morally superior?

So saying we need to end all immigration, legal or illegal, isn’t saying we need to end all immigration, legal or illegal? Saying “DEI likely made the flood total worse. DEI kills” isn’t blaming DEI for flood deaths? Ok, go watch some more basement YouTube videos.

57: Lee has the toughest side of the bracket, but he's the best guy in the bracket, period. 61: Jax has to beat Suda, good chance to get pulled back into repechage if he gets beat by him 65: Woods likely goes down to Amouzad, but he should get pulled back in 70: Duke has reigning world champ match 2, and Gomez is on that side also, but I would anticipate Duke getting into repechage if he can't get by Kaiponov 74: Carr has a brutal draw. Has to beat Valiev and Sidakov to make finals, if he loses to Valiev he needs him to then beat Sidakov to get pulled back in, then would have to beat Sidakov. I think Carr is good enough to medal but not with this draw. 79: Levi should get pulled back into repechage after Usmanov, not the easiest quad with the Georgian in there as well but not terrible 86: Zahid's isn't too bad, he will be guaranteed a medal match, but Kadiev or Ghas in the semis is rough (and the loser in a potential bronze match) 92: Hidlay will have a tough semi against Kurugliev but he could also see Nurmagomedov, both tough matches but he could win 97: Snyder should make the semi's where he would have a tough but winnable Yoshida or Matcharashvili 125: Wyatt has a good shot to make the semis and take a shot at Zare, but it won't be a pushover at all. I will try to make weight-by-weight predictions later but looking at this, it is not too bad at all. It is never going to be easy at worlds and even though some of our newer guys (Jax, Woods, Duke, Haines) have early tough matches, they all have a reasonable shot at getting pulled back in.

Actually Javan seems to have a decent draw

You will not see me upset and arguing nuance if you take a jab at conservatives as gun toting cowboys fat on bbq and country music. Going to the absurd end of values... the left version of wrestling requires consent checks, diversity audits, biodegradable kneepads, tie-dyed singlets, and participation ribbons. On the right, its a free for all that stops when the loser cries for mercy or goes unconscious. You can't handle a jab that doesn't even get into the absurdities... it just stays surface level. But but but...

The game referenced in the engravings, Helldivers 2, is in the mold of Starship Troopers. The underlying joke or trap of the game is to see if players notice that they are enthusiastically fighting for a fascist regime - in the same way that the "good guys" in Starship Troopers are explicitly portrayed as Nazis. Like most of what we've found out, the shooter is engaging with heavily ironic internet content that is very typical of both far-right and left internet subcultures that congregate on platforms like Discord. https://www.pcgamer.com/games/fps/the-united-nations-asked-helldivers-2-studio-arrowhead-if-itd-give-a-talk-on-psychological-manipulation-could-we-brainwash-an-entire-community-to-fight-for-a-fascist-state-would-we-be-okay-with-that-turns-out-yeah/ Of course, you might start to wonder how fun it’ll actually be once you consider the implications of dressing players up in fascist uniforms and calling them to arms under the banner of an imperial state to die, die, and die again in the name of democracy. "We asked ourselves, could we brainwash an entire community to fight for a fascist state? Would they? Would we be okay with that? And turns out, yeah, actually," Pilestedt said in his talk.

Thanks! they should use S Korea for south

Succinct explanation of the internet origins of the engravings:

We shall see.

Yeah, I "love" that the government is moving to use his death as an excuse to crack down on left-wing political speech. I "love" that the president got on TV and demonized the left as murderous criminals. His death is a disaster. I don't think he was a good person, but his death is a tragedy in a macro-political sense, but also for his family. By all accounts he was a great husband and father, so I feel very deeply for his wife and children. The videos of him speaking of his daughter and of her running to him are very tough to watch. People are complicated.

Lee would get the North Korean after Harutyunyan

I don't expect Ghasempour to beat Kadiev by a couple of takedowns. The belief is that Kadiev is the next coming of Sadulaev (if not, better).

Kirk did exactly this actually. Didn't get into West Point and instead of going to another college - which if he was actually qualified for West Point, he would have gotten into most schools - he befriended a wealthy 70-year old conservative activist who bankrolled his early career, which he first built by claiming that "He would have gone to West Point, but an unqualified minority took his spot" with zero evidence (and if you know anything about how college admissions work, you know this is ludicrous). It's actually not even clear Kirk ever officially applied to college or was that interested in attending. He was already starting his career as an online right wing influencer during high school.

Um no it runs counter to what you are inventing you think my point is. Which if I were to guess, is that it relates to nuance. My point is that you cannot seem to accept the humor of someone poking fun at an ideology. What is the word... 'thinskinned' ... 'snowflake'... Cope and mental gymnastics come to light. I was wrong as your statements made me think you would go all dogmatic over that video... "of course it isn't funny, racism is never funny, how dare he speak about racism as if it could be funny" and so on.

Less optimal, but medal match still guaranteed. And unless the cut is really that brutal Ghasempour should dispatch Kadiev by a couple takedowns. I know he's shredded but it really seems like he's just being dramatic about the cut because he hasn't had to do one in a long time.

You clearly have me confused with someone else. Meanwhile, you are loving everything associated with this death...
-
It's not a trans kid and all of a sudden you guys don't seem to care about who the shooter is. Hmmm.. By the way, the other shooting from Wednesday, the school shooting in Colorado, was done by an online neo-nazi who idolized the Columbine shooters.

What an idiot. Continuing to simply look through your myopic lense of the world. Some people simply like physicality and competing and being talented also helps. You either like wrestling or you don't. That and physical talent determine how far you go. If you don't like wrestling, you won't work hard at it because there are A LOT of things in life more important. Personally, I don't think wingers work very hard at all. All they do is complain, don't want to seek higher education and blame minorities for their lack of success.

Shane Gillis is very funny (and left-wing) and again, the point of this joke, runs completely counter to your point. It's exactly why top-down, generalized thinking falls apart. Things are more complicated.

Zahid has him (or Kadiev) in the semi-finals, not the quarters.

He's been in State College a few years so it's either Yuengling or Rolling Rock. Probably Rolling Rock because with a little bit of working out and Yuengling Shitz he'd be back down at 125 with ease
