  2. No, it's fear. That's what drives right wing decision making. Studies even show that wingers are more fear driven.
  3. You are confusing fear with focus.
  4. You make no valid points in any of your posts.
  5. I have the reverse by tech
  6. Sure about that ? Gangs and Politicians in Chicago: An Unholy Alliance The former chieftains, several of them ex-convicts, represented some of the most notorious gangs on the South and West Sides, including the Vice Lords, Gangster Disciples, Black Disciples, Cobras, Black P Stones, and Black Gangsters. Before the election, the gangs agreed to set aside decades-old rivalries and bloody vendettas to operate as a unified political force, which they called Black United Voters of Chicago. “They realized that if they came together, they could get the politicians to come to them,” explains Baskin. The gang representatives were interested in electing aldermen sympathetic to their interests and those of their impoverished wards. As for the politicians, says Baskin, their interests essentially boiled down to getting elected or reelected. “All of [the political hopefuls] were aware of who they were meeting with,” he says. “They didn’t care. All they wanted to do was get the support.” https://www.chicagomag.com/chicago-magazine/january-2012/gangs-and-politicians-an-unholy-alliance/
  7. Gang bangers don't care about anything other than their territory and extortion. The mafia at least tried to be discreet.
  8. The problem is that a liberal woman wants a man with conservative behaviors and attributes that votes liberal. You cannot have your cake and eat it too.
  9. Here’s where it gets a bit META. If you had looked at it. You would’ve seen that it IS commentary(an interview on an podcast, something done in order to keep your attention for $$) about a self reported, I guess you can charitably call it a, study. And you wouldn’t have made your comment because you would’ve seen have seen that I was right. Again, anything that tries to make a truth claim based on ‘self-reported’ information has a high bar to clear before it can be considered credible.
  10. Fair enough, as long as we also agree we don’t know if it’s liberals committing gang violence in Chicago
  11. Living in fear of immigrants, gay and transgender people doesn't sound like a happy existence.
  12. Most likely. But remember, that's how they got Al Capone. Couldn't get him on murder or racketeering, but he didn't pay his taxes.
  13. Bowser today welcomes federal law enforcement presence indefinitely.
  14. Yeah, he eliminated NC State, ASU, Pitt, and Mizzou (and Iowa). And added tOSU and VaTech
  15. My money is on Wade. 2010 285 consolation bracket
  16. The less I pay and the more I can make you pay the better. Bring 'em in!!!!!
  17. Today
  18. Dead or alive ... you make the call. During a news conference in the Oval Office on Tuesday, President Donald Trump announced the U.S. military "shot out" a drug boat from Venezuela in the southern Caribbean.
  19. Dems normalized defund the police movement and the vilifying of our police forces. It’s why no one wants the job anymore. Who did they think was going to have to step in ?
  20. Why wouldn’t they? If there’s money to be made they’ll go anywhere.
  21. ... we are all happier that rv is rv
  22. You’re already spending less. There’s fewer cops and fewer people being prosecuted sooooo
  23. I assume McClane since he's better and they already have Ruiz at 165. Might be a little of a cut, but I don't see why he would come back to wrestle only to ride the bench at 165.
  24. Yep... tough to split your time training for your goal of being a world champ in greco and being committed to OSU wrestling along with the education piece. Spot starter Charlie Hastriter will step in at Heavy and we will probably see some of true freshman Khale McDonnell as well.
