10 hours ago, red viking said: Second, they cut down on the ridiculous greenhouse gasses thar are emitted from poultry, cow and pig farms. Lastly, they're generally smart, good and educated people. However the gasses may be offset: A vegetarian diet can lead to more gas, because plant-based foods are high in fiber and certain complex carbohydrates that take time for your body to digest.

I've never heard of Dov Kleiman but I'll just assume he's a dipsh*t! -
What if Group three has three 1-1 teams? Does that make Pool 2 have five teams? Jokes aside, is it total match point wins, point differential, etc... what for tiebreaker?

Who should get seeded at National Duals? Pick 4
nhs67 replied to okokzach's topic in College Wrestling
If the invitations are based off of 2025 results, then they must also be considered for seeding purposes, right? That means Nebraska, Oklahoma State, and Iowa should get three of them, no doubt. Flip a coin between Minny and Ohio State for #4... or somehow assure us they'll be in the same pool. -
I suggest no pickled peppers before the marathon.

Looks like Ragusin & Romney are up as well. -
I looked into this last night. Best case (after surgery, single-level or double-level, no complications): Return to contact training: 6–9 months. Return to competition: 9–12 months (sometimes earlier with artificial disc replacement instead of fusion). Some elite athletes (e.g., MMA fighters, NFL linemen) have returned within 9 months. Median case: Return to competition: 12–18 months. Performance level: Often good, but some athletes report lingering stiffness or reduced range of motion, especially if fusion was done at multiple levels. Worst case: No safe return to wrestling. Reasons: persistent nerve pain, loss of grip strength, risk of spinal cord injury with impact. This happens in a notable percentage when multiple discs are involved or symptoms remain after surgery.

As I said: Rollerball and more, why not? Everyone gets a single go around here. That's it. Maybe you grab and hold onto the 1st thing you get. Maybe you hold off for more. Make no mistake - Life is a series of gambles. -
He commented nothing on the matter at hand

Interesting question. What's the vision and final destination for a guy like SocraTease? Let's be fair and take a look at your career and your trajectory. Maybe we'll learn something. -

Cornell Kevin started following Jouneyman Collegiate Duals pools
-
I figured this out last month based on process of elimination and a # of different factors. I had thought I posted it on here already however I do not see it. These pools have not been announced yet, but here they are Day 1 pools Penn St-Stanford-NDSU Cornell-Illinois-Little Rock Ohio St-Iowa St-Lehigh Day 2 will consist of 3 different pools as well. The 2-0 teams from Day 1 in one pool, 1-1 teams in a pool, and finally the 0-2 teams in a pool. Cornell has half their team out first semester. The way it works however (based on Foca and Ramirez last year) as they (Greg D, Ungar, Cornella, Fernandez, and Shapiro) will all be able to compete at the conclusion of the first semester. They do not have to wait for the second semester to start. Last year, Foca and Ramirez were able to participate in the dual vs NC State at home which fell on Dec 20th. It is looking like barring any injuries, Cornell should be full strength for this event. I would favor Cornell full strength over Illinois. This means quite possibly seeing Shapiro vs Kasak/Duke and Levi Haines vs Simon Ruiz. A match that Haines needed a t defensive takedown in the final seconds to win 4-1 at NCAAs. What about that third pool I listed day 1? I figured this out by the way by first separating like conference teams. Then Cornell and Little Rock accidentally put the teams they were facing on their schedule they rolled out quite early prior to changing it to show “collegiate duals” rather than the teams they were to face. Then with Iowa St having Stanford on their schedule a week after this event, and Cornell having Lehigh…everything fell into place as is. I created the graphic below for our BEG show we aired a few weeks ago
