I speculated that he must be the only wrestler to pull this off, but there are three others who have done this over four tournaments. Name them.

Let's just get straight to the point - Paul is not 'impressive' as a professional boxer. He's simply not. Yet. What is impressive about him is that he (and, well, mostly his managers) have been able to make an extremely large amount of money off his exhibition matches. I used to post here about him a while back, too. His marketing group generates much interest, no doubt. If money making was more important than boxing ability - he'd hold the belt. Back to thread - Paul's group has made a ton of money, and they've been generous with it toward his opponents. Nothing wrong with that at all, it is commendable. Boxing isn't a profession known for creating wealth for anyone but champions. Here's the thing. Real boxing organizations haven't ranked him - for the simple reason that he's not shown he's good enough yet. He's got a large group of fans, and I wish him the best of luck. But marketing and popularity isn't going to get him into the top 50. That'll be all on him tackling real pro fighters. To see that, I may even buy a ticket.
