I was watching sone RPW re runs on YouTube and it gave me a few thoughts. The RPW announcers did a great job. There were 3. Nate Carr really brought the energy and was great to help emphasize exciting moments. One of the things I used to hate from NCAAs about a decade ago was how the announcers would basically try to teach you about wrestling. Freestyle is simpler than folkstyle(go ahead and fight me on this) - takedowns, push outs, and back exposure. I don't think too much time will be needed to help people know what they're watching. RPW used a horn for period end. I liked that. I am not sure what my thoughts are about putting sponsorships on the mat. Curious what others think. Putting it outside of the circle may not be visible often enough for a broadcast, but inside circle could be distracting if done incorrectly or too busy. You might want to limit it. It's obviously going to be Real American Beer. Incorporate Hulk Hogan as the opener or opening sizzle real for each broadcast. Try to secure a deal with Nike, Adidas, Asics, Rudis as exclusive singlet, shoe, apparel provider. If not, then it might be cool to see wrestlers out sponsors on their singlet for income. Probably going to lean in on the patriotism and I think it's a great strategy for gaining fans that are new to wrestling. This is probably why Nomad's snowflake ass thinks it is stupid. There is so so much that goes in to all the details of the product RAF ultimately determines to put out. It,s a huge undertaking.

Just watched. (spoiler) I wouldn’t say it was “very political.” Politics weren’t mentioned until the last 25 minutes or so, and only about Jordan, I don’t think there was anything about the “GOP in general.” Towards the end was definitely anti-Jordan, but it was based on the stories of the multiple wrestlers (and referee) that were interviewed. They said Hellickson had told them he would support them, but then ghosted them, and they blamed Jordan for that, since they said Jordan also called them asking them to publicly support himself. But I think the bigger “hit piece” was more against Ohio State, rightfully so. Jordan was of course also mentioned earlier in the doc, but usually in conjunction with Hellickson. There was definitely the implication earlier on that they blew off allegations at the time. Which then was contrasted to the female fencing coach actually making complaints. One thing I don’t recall reading about previously was the steroid allegations. I thought the story of Dan Ritchie, as well as the hockey player were particularly sad.
