  1. Past hour
  2. some of those I have muted, but about a third I have not seen so i'll be open minded.
  3. Ok State doesn't actually make much sense. Penn State...THAT does. He'll be a 149 probably. He's a Sr this year. SVN will be a Jr with 1 more year. He takes a RS and slides into the lineup. OK State is stacked with recruits from '33-'74 in particular. BUT, with Jax, maybe he wants to make Stillwater Bishop McCourt 2.0. God knows Penn State has convinced kids, 'if you're really that good, don't worry about who is already here.' Maybe Taylor is doing the same. I'm not going to make a judgement on the Brands because... that's tired. I AM however going to remind people what Askren said about Iowa. How you'd be stupid to go to Iowa straight out of HS, how you get more money going to another school, then transferring as an AA. You get more money(I think he brought up Ayala). I don't know if that's true, he does seem to not love Iowa, but he also knows more about the recruiting process than I having gone through it with so many Wrestlers. Or...at least having so many former Wrestlers communicating with him.
  4. Sokobuw Kozak Reattack Vecchiomania Salty Walk-On Swayz WBP Pelikanhead Tsabolov Brands Rhino because his facts run counter to xitter philosophy
  5. DEFINITELY NOT A LOCK LOL
  6. Now that's solid advice. I'm impressed that you listened to me. Keep it up, and you'll continue to learn more.
  7. He didn't really do anything new IMO. His original commitment process was always silly, this just shows exactly why but I think we all already acknowledged it was a weird move. No need to re-visit that. Just because he originally committed in a weird way doesn't mean he shouldn't be able to change if he has second thoughts. Miller immediately removing Iowa makes me think something behind the scenes may have happened as well. Chittum's on school 5 but nobody seems to care. If it wasn't Bassett this would be a non-story.
  8. excellent first post welcome
  9. God is always asking for cash so that tracks.
  10. good description of america
  11. I'm thinking that God was bribed with cold hard cash
  12. Wonder what caused God to change his recommendation.
  13. The Muslim religion is half a century behind what progressives are for. Ya boomers are bad.
  14. The point is the Muslim Religion majority supports this treatment of women. And you support them.
  15. Yep. Libtardos care more about them than Americans. Ever wonder why????
  16. I think there’s a couple questions related to what you’ve mentioned here: 1. Why did he change his mind? 2. What’s the financial implications? From my perspective, question 1 is irrelevant. He needs to decide what’s right for him and the answer is really just for my understanding. I’d love to know, but won’t question his decision based on any outcome. Question 2 is fully speculative. That $5mm number seems outlandish to me, but does it really matter? There’s a lot fluctuating now with compensation. Regardless of the numbers, I don’t blame the student athlete for shooting for the optimal payday. There’s no real professional outlet after college. They should get as much as possible. It’s a fair question to ask WHO can play on the same field, but once again - for our understanding of the marketplace, and not any indictment on Bo’s commitment.
  17. no you're just making things up. you still haven't told me when he's old enough to be a legitimate target for criticism.
  18. @BobDole gives me a hernia check before every post I make on this board. Is that not how this is supposed to work?
  19. I want what’s best for my kids and grandkids too. Good news is I don’t have to encourage them to do anything. They know there’s no better place on the planet to be.
  20. I think the point is he already “did his thing.” Started out with 70 schools or whatever and “wanted to take his time.” And now he’s changing his mind before he even starts his senior year of high school. I defended him before, but this isn’t really a great look IMO, unless something happened behind the scenes that we don’t know about. One of my main questions is…how exaggerated was the $5 million claims that were out there? And if they weren’t that exaggerated, how close is another school getting to that number?
  21. Well said. Kid committed and had regrets. That’s fine. “Bad for the sport” is an overreaction.
  22. Legally they're adults. But there's effectively no difference in maturity between a 17 and 18 year old (or older). When you have kids that age, you'll understand.
  23. so you are bought and paid for... principles mean nothing... just like i figured
  24. people post about the poor children of gaza all the time but the poor women of iran get no recognition?
  25. I don't think so... I think someone just posed the question.
