  1. Gotta think Van Dee wins that spot. Obviously anything can happen, but I think Ayoub will have to be head and shoulders better to win that spot. So I think the path is slim for him this year.
  2. I'm not exactly privy to the rules on this. But I'd say the chances are probably slim to none. I know there's a few exceptions (F&M, Edinboro, etc.) but seems like most schools are the same division for all sports.
  3. One of those Marmion teams had 3 dudes that I thought were sure-fire/can't miss prospects: Whitford, Cortez, and Brill. None of them lived up to the hype in college.
  4. I believe the program's first year was 2023-2024 and their first year of postseason eligibility was 2024-2025. So personally I'd give him one more year to at least show improvements before I made a move. But I agree, they suck...a lot.
  5. I am 100% certain that Draegen Orine will not be wrestling this season and will be joining the military. Will he wrestle again at a later date, with today's relaxed eligibility rules? I can't speak on that.
  6. I was in the SOCON from 2013-2017, and I attest to this. The program lost it's edge when Eslinger left for the FCA job.
  7. He was planning to go to Little Rock, but decided to pivot plans and will be joining the military.
  8. Bianchi is going 165.
  9. Word on the street is he's over 180.
  10. Not sure I agree with all your AA predictions, but I do think we'll see a bump in productivity from Gioffre, who will be at his natural weight (after wrestling up a weight because his brother was at 149).
  11. Isn't that what class big boards are for?
  12. Don't share this with @Jimmy Cinnabon. It doesn't fit his narrative of Iowa being the best at the portal game.
  13. So are you predicting him to beat Haines? Or is Flo? Which is it?
  14. You've never heard of the guy that was 5th in the country this year? Lmao.
  15. That's my boys right there.
  16. I am not 100% sure on this topic, so you may very well be right. But I do know that there is a US Territory "team" that competes at Fargo. For example, David Maldonado wrestled at U15 Pan-Ams (68 kg for Puerto Rico) and was silver in Free and bronze in GR and then competed at Fargo (for team UST) in 16U 150 (Free & GR) two months later.
  17. I did the day Thomas Gilman got hired.
  18. I don't think there's a possible dark horse to win. I think the champ comes out of the group of Robinson, LL, Sprat, Ventresca, or Jore. And none of those would be a dark horse imo. Dark horse to podium: Provo and Kael Lauridsen.
  19. Dark horse to what? Win a title? Make the podium? Other?
  20. Who said he was? I actually implied that he would be a 70/74kg guy by the list of guys I named that are all 70/74kg guys.
  21. Joshua Saunders was on this team as well.
  22. I saw where you're coming from, but it's not going to get easier on him. David Carr is young, Mesenbrink is same age as Meyer, Dee Lockett is young, Joey Blaze looks to have a bright future in freestyle and is the same age as Meyer, PJ Duke is younger than Meyer, Kasak is the same age as Meyer, Caliendo is young and has a bright future in freestyle. So I'm just saying it's hard. Look at Dake and DT, neither made a team until much later in their careers.
  23. Bear with me here. But if you go to FloArena (or USA Bracketing/TrackWrestling), and go to the dashboard, it has a list of every match that's going on on every mat at that given time. This is not a hard problem to solve brother.
  24. Believe that was the year he spent at the OTC EAP. Same year Aaron Brooks was doing that program.
