Also asking this question...
For the guys following, what's the best way to keep up with the action and pinpoint select matches as they happen? I'm "working", so can't watch the entire stream, but definitely don't want to miss the good ones.
Would love to see this, bring David Taylor in as a big name assistant as soon as he's ramping down his own athletic career in hopes of him taking over. I think it's more likely he joins up with Cael and continues with PSU though, especially with his M2 Training Center already established nearby in PA.
Ouch..... Must've had some academic troubles then. Just some high level numbers, but here are the acceptance rates for some comparable programs as of 2021...
Cornell - 14%
Michigan - 21%
Ohio State - 27%
Penn State - 49%
Wisconsin - 53%
Iowa - 82%
Iowa State - 86%
Oklahoma State - 86%
Hashtag BLOCKED. Jk, not that serious. Thought I missed something since you blew up on PA, lol.
Interesting to note that the Russians don't seem to compete against their countrymen... I haven't picked up on that one.
Quick question on Sadulaev... Most consider the Russian athletes to have been part of a state-sponsored doping program, but I have NEVER heard Sadulaev's name in reference to this. Why does he seem to get a pass when everyone else is assumed to be guilty? Is it assumed that he abstained from it?
What's with all the hostility? I'd be hard-pressed to call these "defections" when you're simply just competing for another country by some technicality. It's not like Finesilver or Amine have defected.
Might need to give it a listen after work. Just curious, what makes Henry's achievement more significant than other coaching feats? Was it the OTC that was questioning his training methods? Thanks for the post btw.
If true, this sounds hilarious and I can't wait to watch.
EDIT: Just watched two matches of hers on YouTube where she was pinned inside of a minute both times. Can anybody off the street just enter the US Open? Lol.
Sounds like a good time. Used to watch with the fam but being in the south these days, no chance of getting a group together like that. They call it "wrasslin".
