    I'm thinking the same, also thinking he's sticking with 86kg for now before jumping up to 97kg. I've always wanted to see how Kyle compared to the likes of DT, Bo Nickal, etc, but unfortunately coach Cael doesn't let them wrestle in public. We missed out on the Bo Nickal / Kyle Snyder matchup we were all hoping for a few years back.

    Oooo do we think Brooks can take out Snyder? The difference between 97kg and 197lbs is over 16 lbs, and Snyder is only 5 years older than Brooks.

    There's another thread on Askren, but people have mentioned that the bridge between him and Wisconsin is burned. I would certainly think it's in Wisconsin's best interest to mend that relationship or else miss out on every AWA kid from here on out. Would love to see him get the head coaching gig just for the pure entertainment aspect.

    Haven't seen this mentioned, but it could've been for academic reasons. If he couldn't get into a Big Ten school or Mizzou, it's not uncommon to go to a more lenient school from an academic standpoint to get your foot in the door, establish some grades, and then transfer to where you actually want to go.

    I just can't see him working within the bounds of an NCAA program and having to appease admins and boosters. I'd love to see it, but feel like he'd do the same as he did when he got the RTC job - didn't see eye to eye with others and quit.

    I think most in the wrestling community did, but that's about it. Unfortunately he could make more money as a Bellator prospect than he could with wrestling at the time, so I don't blame him. Askren was preaching about jumping ship to MMA for the money at this time as well.

    Love Sparks. Not sure of the other guys, but the constant mispronunciations of the wrestler's names in the Ohio State Penn State dual was annoying and amateurish.
