  1. I'm going to take a beating here but oh well. 1) Bruce 2)Smith 3) Snyder 4) JB one of the two words in 'all-time' is 'time'. Bruce has as many olympic golds as anyone, and twice as many medals as john smith. I want to give more to JB for ten medals and competing in the minimal olympic weight/multi-ov era, but I can't put a guy with olympic gold and teched out of the olympics over three guys in two olympic finals and a hand full of gold medals. Yes one of Bruce's came in '84, but his longevity and medaling over and over and over again wins it for me. If Snyder wins Paris he jumps to 1 for me. Have to factor in Sadulaev. 5) David Taylor 6) Kyle Dake 7) Dave Schultz 8-Lee Kemp (I'm not making Lee pay for Carter's mistakes) 9)Kenny Monday 10) Chris Tayor.....come on, the guy medaled in FS, losing only to Medved on a call that got the ref dismissed from wrestling permanently...while also competing in Greco!!
  2. Tokyo....and the clock is still running
  3. He didn't really lose an opportunity to covid, they still had the olympics, and then the 21 worlds (his lone loss)
  4. There should be two mount rushmores, the Soviet era and the post soviet era. It is exponentially more difficult to win a medal/gold now.
  5. I’m looking at them, not who they’re wrestling. And they’re not looking as impressive to me.
  6. Anyone else not too impressed with either Akgul or Geno?
  7. Steak ‘n Shake man! Seriously for the rise in familiarity with the term ‘smash burger’…..simple marketing. With the rise in popularity in grilling, comes the rise in sales of grilling accessories. It’s not so much for the dads, as much as for those who need to buy dad gifts.
  8. Coals it went. It’s not really even a choice.
  9. Burgers is the request. Question is over the coals or smash style on the griddle…
  10. The only thing we've seen competitively in a bit from Sidakov or Sadulaev was the recent wrestle off, and neither looked nearly as impressive as they have in the past. It will be interesting to see where they are after the last couple of years. I feel like what we saw in that wrestle off, both are very beatable.
  11. Had that bald head thing going for a minute. Makes for a great silhouette!
  12. I’m a little bothered we’ve went all these pages and breakfast hasn’t gotten any love. Next to lunch and dinner, it is the most important meal of the day…
  13. I do overnight soaks instead of injecting. Seems to work pretty well.
  14. There are people with 20/20 goggles that like to go back and play with video and make statements that gain attention and clicks. Then there are people who were actually inside the buildings, doing what they had to do to get out, and tell their stories of how they physically watched the integrity of the building deteriorate. Watched cracks begin and form in the walls. Watch metal start to bend. Everyone has the freedom to believe, and push, whatever statements they want. Right or wrong.
  15. Free overnight deliveries on quantities of 5 or more. (I actually used to do that shit as a side hustle)
  16. Tonight we went with my Denver steak and blue cheese salad.
  17. I’m in Cape Coral, which has over 400 miles of canals running throughout the city (largest canal system in the world). Some lead to the gulf (or pine island sound to be exact), some are landlocked, and some lead to the Caloosahatchee River. The C river runs inland to Lake Okachobee, which then has another river running out the other side and to the east coast….giving is the Intercoastal Waterway
  18. Chicken lollipops and bacon/spinach Mac n cheese
  19. I ditto this. If you keep it a low temp (220 max) you're going to be okay, it's nice meat you can do a lot of things with. Smoking at 250 or so you're going to be at a big risk of losing it. Resting time is a big deal as well with all the fattines in a chuck. Resting is underestimated a good bit.
  20. It’s not about time, every cut and every cook is a little different. It’s about internal temp. To get there depends on how big and thick the cut is. And please, can you leave the nonsense to the other threads.
