How many will form strong opinions based on actually reading it. And how many will form strong opinions based on what your favorite media scrub tells you what to think?? This should be interesting. That’s my bad. You’ve shown all too well that when it comes to real life tragedy like this, a little bit of effort toward accuracy is not that big of deal for you if you see on opportunity to burn the other side and give yourself a warm fuzzy…..people losing their homes and lives be damned. I can’t fathom why any grown half way intelligent folk would use tik tok. I have three kids in that 18-24 year range and all three have even shed it since it shifted from funny lip sync videos.

I’ve always said people who were interested in truth rather than slanted versions, wouldn’t be demanding proof on an anonymous message board. The whole practice just seems silly for someone truly interested in finding truth.

Thankfully. Everyone should be in agreement that what happened last time, the totality of what happened the last time, was simply horrible. There were some people that got more consequences than they deserved, true. That doesn’t take away from the horror of what did happen. It doesn’t take away from what happened in 2020, nor does 2020 make Jan 6 any less of a tragic event. All partisanship aside, We should all be in agreement that it is in our best interest that it never happen again. We don’t know who would be in the positions to make the game changing decisions next time. And once it’s done, it’s never coming back. Some of you, on both sides, believe (or at least act like) America is in serious decline and we’ve lost our freedoms. I’d urge you to go spend some time and get to know some of the every day folks in Russia. See if your perspective changes any. We don’t want it to happen again.

Was never big on therapy just as a general thing. But I took the step a little while back. One does not need to be mentally ill for therapy to be a big benefit. Has been a benefit for me. (I think the OP had a completely different motive here than to talk about the benefits of therapy, but that’s another story)

I kind of agree with you that they essential are their own nation. Their own laws, their own norms, their own society. Almost complete sovereignty. BUT…. On this voting issue, which as mentioned above is not required, they are not looking to get us to practice their norms. They are looking to practice our norms. Voting is not being forced upon them.
