  1. There's a no-needles policy in place, so if that happened, they're all getting the boot. Also, I refuse to believe that an athlete that was anywhere near 50kg (aka, 53-54kg) couldn't make 50kg safely. I'm also wondering if they resorted to some less-than-legal means (see: needles and IV saline bags) to get her rehydrated again after the Day 1 weigh-in.
  2. I feel like Myles Amine draws into a pretty decent shot at a Bronze at every Worlds or Olympics.
  3. Hope KGZ likes getting her oil checked. Oborududu is not subtle with that. At all.
  4. Just bulldozing the Turk. Awesome.
  5. I’m guessing he’s like 30lbs overweight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  7. https://reduxx.info/an-injustice-former-canadian-olympic-head-coach-speaks-out-against-results-of-2016-olympics-calls-for-sex-segregated-sport/ You’re talking about this like it’s new. Welcome to 2016. In 2018, she was effectively banned from competition. I wrote about her case nearly 80 posts ago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Or, made-to-order custom shoes based on your foot’s unique dimensions, that have no gender tag. I have two pairs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Yes, it’s kind of funny how the “there are only two genders” crowd are being forced to admit that’s not quite true. They are also learning the difference between gender and sex, too, I’d hope. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. The Pan Am Olympic qualifier was 57kg scratch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I’ll recommend a podcast for anyone interested in learning about human physiology and performance. The Real Science of Sport, by Dr. Ross Tucker and Mike Finch. Both South African; Dr. Tucker is a scientist whose main focus is concussions and Mr. Finch is a sports journalist. They have guests on a lot of topics. They’ve discussed Caster Semenya a bunch of times in reaction to current events, such as CAS decisions about cases World Athletics or Semenya have brought before the court. They also talk about various impressive performances, doping and sports safety. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Guys, if you haven’t already, look into the story of Caster Semenya. 2x Olympic champ. DSD/Intersex. Has external female genitalia and internal male reproductive organs. She’s had a bunch of cases before CAS. Long story short, testosterone offers a significant competitive advantage at the pointy end of the sport. World Athletics has effectively banned her, and all intersex competitors, from competition. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caster_Semenya Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. They do. These women all have “F” on their passports. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. For some reason I doubt Aaron Brooks was handed a cut sheet of the exact, scene-by-scene events of opening ceremony, with which to make a decision on whether or not to attend.
  15. Why would a 197lb wrestler be competing at 285 at NCAAs?
  16. And boxing, without the no-shots-below-the-belt rule. They don’t go for the head much but below water those people are criminals. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Can you define “liberal arts degree”? Quite a few things fall under that umbrella. Architecture, mathematics, chemistry, physics… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. BMX racing athletes are incredibly athletic. That’s a bat shit crazy take. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Because they don’t claim to be “free speech absolutists” like Musk. They aren’t hypocrites; he is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. This. There are a lot of athletes who aren’t participating in the opening ceremony. A bunch of cyclists who just finished the Tour de France aren’t doing it, either. Those guys make millions of dollars a year and are paid to manage their performance; standing for 8hrs ain’t it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Elon clearly doesn’t believe in free “speach”. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Who was the Olympic medalist he beat in Folk? Looking at his record and stumped. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Aileen Cannon has been curb stomped by the 11th every time Jack Smith appeals. Her logic here is non-existent. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. After watching Mirasola’s matches, I am confident that he will be pretty decent in college and may pick up a thing or two from Cael and Casey. Maybe Varner, too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
