    People on the old board gave me shit about nominating Starocci as the next likely 4 timer, particularly when he was just a RS FR, but I'll do it again: If they RS Mirasola this year, he's going to be an absolute terror for the next four years. Askren has coached him up very well but he's still pretty raw in some positions. I expect to see some gigantic leaps from what we saw at OTTs and U20 WTTs to his RS FR year. He's going to be rolling with Cael, Varner, Brooks and Snyder on the regular.

    You can’t really eat field corn. Well, you can, but you’ll shit it out the same way it came in. It won’t be digested at all. Not a great idea.     Barr could also go up to 197 for a year if Carter can't get big enough for 197. Hate to say it, but Barr's needs and desires are second fiddle to that of the 4x NCAA champ. Carter is going be as wide as a house at 197, though. I think he'll be just fine. He was a couple weeks removed from a season at 174, had been making his way down, couldn't do it, and still gave Hidlay a great match at 189.

    Yazdani is great at a lot of things but I didn’t think he would win every single 50/50 position against a relatively high level American. I’m not convinced Brooks beats Yazdani (strong Yazdani lean until I see it) but I think Brooks scores on some of those positions and it’s a much closer match. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
