  1. I didn’t say they aren’t. I said that the *interviewer* is not a medical professional. I’m half Trump and Biden’s age; there might be additional upstream checks I don’t know about. Particularly by a medical professional, for people past a certain age. However, adjudicators have limited power over the executive branch. A president can overrule the FBI and other screeners. Which is why Jared Kushner had a clearance, despite recommendations he not get one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. What am I supposed to refute? And, why would I? I’m not refuting any of it. The weird thing is that you’ll gleefully accept media accounts of Biden’s decline while completely ignoring the same sources when they post accounts of Trump’s deficiencies. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I didn’t say that, anywhere. I simply said that the *interviewer* is not a medical professional. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Ok. Unless you have been diagnosed with a psychological disorder (I don’t know that either Biden or Trump have), perceived disability by the interviewer is not relevant when making a recommendation that would result in granting access to information. The men and women who conduct those interviews are not trained medical professionals and wouldn’t attempt to make any medical judgements. That’s not their job. Drug use, divorces, bankruptcies, foreign contacts, etc. are all things that raise the eyebrows of security professionals. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Are you referring to the shenanigans the GOP’s star witness (who just plead guilty for perjury) made up? Also: Any statements about Biden’s mental acuity can be made about Trump. No one I know would hire a person with his inability to form a coherent sentence or clearly articulate a thought. Read the transcripts of his rallies or interviews. There are several primates who have used ASL to communicate more clearly than Trump can. He clearly has some form of dementia. And, unlike Biden, he has at least one very clear instance of a security violation that, were he not the president, would have likely landed him in prison. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. The futility of background checks? Are you suggesting that everyone, regardless of qualification, potential compromises or need to know, should have access to sensitive information? Seriously? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. He also can’t get a security clearance. Or, rather, shouldn’t. Also, he can’t be president, so that’s another practical consideration. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. See the bottom of my post. You did the right thing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I’m not the one who posted anti-trans material here. The person who introduced the boogeyman (transgender people and anti-trans theories) is the person who should draw your ire here. Also, he only admitted he was wrong after he was called out multiple times. That said, he apologized and that is commendable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Why, pray tell, would you think it was accurate? Do you go hunting for anti-trans news any time a school shooting happens? Or does your personal news feed just happen to be populated with a bunch of anti-trans accounts that jump at any possible opportunity to demonize? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. You might want to get your eyes checked. And then apologize for your gaslighting, while you’re at it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. It’s wild how many people are so eager to demonize an incredibly small portion of the population based on rumors from known assholes on the internet. And then, when even the assholes delete their tweets, aren’t embarrassed at all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Ah. You just happened to stumble on just THAT one, eh? So, you weren’t trying to paint a certain picture? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. You going to retract this or just pretend you didn’t say it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Someone’s heel is going to touch their headgear in that match. And it’s not Starocci. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. People regularly do that in every other sector, so good for him, if it worked. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Welsh was originally announced at 174 against Haines for the All-Star; what happened? It's not like he couldn't still RS after an unofficial match. Couldn't make weight?
  18. I’m wondering if Wyoming is going through the flu right now, actually. Guys who live at 7,000ft are normally less sluggish when they come down from altitude. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. In the summary itself, they say the contract is for 3,000. 93 have been delivered so far. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. The cost per truck would drop a lot, lot further. That’s what happens when you stand up any new manufacturing line: the first ones off the line cost a lot more than a couple years later. The cost of the first batch of Arleigh Burke DDGs is higher than the current version. Same with F35s. Hell, the first F-150s cost a hell of a lot of money for the first production run. After a couple hundred thousand it’s 1/10th that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. You ever try to make your own Tailwind or Maurten (non-caffeinated)? I’ve been experimenting with some mixes I’ve found on various forums and had pretty good results. 15 years ago it was unheard of to take in 50g+ of carbs per hour. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Did Tesla bid on the work? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Cool. The video is wrong. Which is easily verifiable with a simple “electric mail trucks contract” search in Google or any similar search engine. Also, the original contract for the Grumman LLV was awarded during the Reagan administration to a plant in a swing state. Was that improper or illegal? Is every contract awarded to any company in a swing state improper? Do you understand how absurd that sounds? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. 3,000 mail trucks. Also, the president didn’t give the contract to them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. How about this well documented fact: He has a unit tattoo for an organization he never served in. I’m imagining this dude going to some Army installation, doing a Q & A, and getting roasted by the junior enlisted. ***ducking** embarrassing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
