I compiled a list that could possibly make a protest illegal. The protest video above was illegal on my non lawyerly opinion.
Arson – Setting buildings, vehicles, or property on fire.
Vandalism – Destroying or defacing public or private property.
Looting – Stealing from businesses or homes.
Assault – Physically attacking others, including police or counter-protesters.
Blocking Emergency Services – Preventing ambulances, fire trucks, or police from responding to emergencies.
Trespassing – Entering private property without permission.
Rioting – Engaging in violent or destructive behavior as part of a large group.
Inciting Violence – Encouraging others to commit violent acts.
Weapons Violations – Carrying firearms, explosives, or other illegal weapons.
Threatening Public Officials – Making credible threats against politicians, judges, or law enforcement.
Resisting Arrest – Refusing to comply with lawful orders from police.
Disrupting Transportation – Blocking roads, highways, airports, or railways.
Interfering with Government Functions – Disrupting court proceedings, legislative sessions, or public services.
Hate Speech or Harassment – Targeting individuals with threats or abusive language that violates local laws.
Unlawful Assembly – Gathering without a required permit or after being ordered to disperse.
Breaking Curfew – Violating a government-imposed curfew.
Cyber Attacks – Hacking government or private systems as part of the protest.
Obstructing Business Operations – Preventing a business from operating through force or intimidation.
Throwing Projectiles – Hurling objects like rocks, Molotov cocktails, or fireworks at people or buildings.
Defying Court Orders – Violating injunctions or legal restrictions placed on protests.
