  1. Are there more TFs than last year though?
  2. Vito walking Crooham back to center mat and pointing at the line was a boss move.
  3. Finalists who haven't qualified for OTTs yet: Ayala Figueroa Mendez Henson Haines Teemer Carr Welsh Starocci Keckeisen Kerkvliet Davison
  4. 125 - Ayala dec Figs 133 - Vito dec Fix 141 - Bartlett dec Mendez 149 - Gomez maj Henson 157 - Haines dec Teemer 165 - Mes dec Carr 174 - Rocci dec Rocco 184 - PKeck maj Plott 197 - Hidlay dec Brooks 285 - Kerk dec Davison With Ayala's title, the Hawks finish ahead of ISU
  5. The crowd was on Fix earlier in the tournament also for his s t a l l i n g
  6. Didn't JB confirm it on the broadcast?
  7. I just couldn't believe KOT gassed. Very insightful comment from JB early in the match about recognizing your own strengths, with O'Toole being the better wrestler/scrambler and Carr being the better athlete/physically stronger.
  8. Kenney, JB, DC on the horn again? Or are they bringing in DT or someone to do color?
  9. Something like: slows the pace of the match and does nothing but doesn't get called for stalling, plays the edge and gets multiple TDs from Vito overturned, grabs an ankle to defend a shot and reinjures Vito, throws in double boots and hangs out, gets out from under and does more of nothing, wins 1-0. Confused look on Smith's face the entire time.
  10. Fr, someone probably told Schultz about KC BBQ
  11. It's even crazier to see because he goes from his semi upright stance into Viper Vito mode from space
  12. I think there are also Covid season guys who take shirts and still have a couple of seasons of eligibility left. Like Chris Cannon
  13. More or less the same points wise that PSU would've gotten with SVN. Crazy
  14. Shapiro wrestled 2 more matches than Brooks did, though. I'm glad he's doing OK. I feel like he's in good hands with the Cornell staff, with the precautions and care Yianni must be getting after the Pan Ams wrestle-off. Head injuries are no joke
  15. Rags was right there with Fix last night. The reviews completely disrupted the flow of the match though and it sucked for Rags to lose it on a locked hands call. Terrible mental lapse. I expect to see Vito destroy Fix tonight. Arujau is firing on all cylinders and hasn't given up an offensive point in the tournament yet (I think). Did you see him literally slithering halfway across the mat yesterday? That was nuts
  16. No, online message boards, social media, and live streaming coverage didn't exist back then. People read about Iowa and Oklahoma State's successes in the newspaper and had to carve their disdain about wrestling dynasties into the trunks of trees and on cave walls.
  17. Did Schultz get scratched or somethign?
  18. So do they start at 285 tomorrow night, or 184?
  19. Like some Real Woods short shorts, or what?
  20. Looks like Brooks already has one
