  1. I tore a hammy in beer league softball trying to stretch a double to a triple at age 40, and was on the shelf for 6 months. Teemer may be in slightly better shape than I was though.
  2. I've never been a huge Bono fan, but he also does some things well. I think Badger fans are shooting themselves in the foot though with all the public complaining online. You might eventually get rid of the current guy, but are high quality future coaches going to want to jump into that environment? As I remember, the fan base wasn't all in on Barry Davis either.
  3. I think it probably had most to do with, getting Campbell's 4 ranked guys in the first 4 matches and getting Minnesota's lightweights fresh off the scale. Even a close match at Hwt would have been momentum for their 125-141 which were their best chances at getting a ranked win.
  4. Campbell wins the flip and elects to start at Hwt. 7. Riggens down by 12 with 15 seconds just needs to evade the takedown. One more stalling call wouldn't matter.

  9. What are they challenging?
  10. I didn't hear that, but it's entirely possible. It would be quite a slap to Kueter right after he left football for the year.
  11. The Lord works in mysterious ways.
  12. I want a write in vote for Penn State
  13. Strong rumors of a large offer coming from south of the MN border. I'm not sure if that was last year or this year though.
  14. I think he is giving Minnesota a significant hometown discount compared to what he was offered elsewhere. This seems evident from his return video and press conference. With his Instagram following and local TV commercials and endorsements, he can generate a lot of his own NIL money without digging into the Gopher's collective fund too much.
  15. This Sunday against Campbell.
  16. Translation: He wanted to kick everyone's arse, but they wanted him to be a jobber.
  17. In 2022 he graduated with a double major in Communications, and I believe, Marketing. He said he is currently taking grad classes but didn't get specific.
  18. Gable presser today. He's back this Sunday.
  19. Speaking of Burwikk.....he just took second at Daktronics for his new team NDSU.
  20. Maybe, but he was down to about this weight for events over the summer.
  21. Whiting lead early, but seemed to gas a bit at the end.

  23. Your list is what I was about to type (that Sinclair will have competition from). I think Josh Barr will also be back down at this weight next year also.
  24. Unless he has a goal to win another Hodge and tie Cael's record of 3. But I guess even if he wrestles a heavier schedule, he'd still get serious competition from Starocci/Keckeisen winner, or someone else who may emerge. I don't know how many total matches a person would need to get consideration from the Hodge committee, maybe 15?
