  1. Did you vote for the Federal Reserve, its policies, or any member of its board? My democratic self did not. For example, I would abolish the 2% inflation target as it is part of the problem. No inflation should be the target. I have not yet seen the referendum on whether or not Americans believe we should make devaluing our money (i.e. our property and our work effort) a national policy. Neither has your democratic self. No one has ever voted democratically on Fed policy. Therefore, no threat to democracy. The chief executive of an organization (the executive branch of the government) having influence over the nature of the employment of those in that organization is not very radical nor anti-democratic. Therefore, no threat to democracy. Jan 6th is a nothing burger. Never was a burger. Just grandmas taking selfies on a stroll between the velvet ropes for 10 or 15 minutes. The big scandal of Jan 6th was the decisions by the Speaker of the House and the DC Mayor when requests for security were denied by those brilliant ladies. Again, no threat to democracy. A presidential nominee whom nobody voted to represent them: A direct threat to democracy.
  2. 'Donald Trump Will Destroy Democracy,' Says Party Nominating Candidate No One Voted For Parody sites like Babylon Bee cannot keep up with the absurdity of the real left.
  3. Too bad Mayorkas is not also on the way out. He’s her “boss” keeping us all “secure”!!
  4. The most undemocratic outcome possible. This man is so beloved that 90+% of the primary voters selected him. 81 million "voters" make him the most democratic democrat in the history of democracy. This is nothing short of an insurrection thwarting the will of the people.
  5. Think of all the ballots that will now have to be thrown out. Or do all of the Dem State AGs make new election rules (like they did in 2024, illegally) stating that a ballot marked for Biden is countable as a ballot for whomever is the Dem candidate? Remember, Joseph R. Biden is the most popular president EVER. EVERRRRRRR!!!!! 81 million ballots. Wilson, FDR, JFK, Clinton, Obama - none were nearly as beloved as a democrat leader as the demi-god Joe Biden. The Democrat voters overwhelmingly indicated their love for BIden in the primaries. Removing the overwhelmingly popular and democratically elected candidate is the most anti-democracy act possible. Our Democracy is at risk!! Prima facie evidence that the DNC is the biggest threat to democracy in our lifetime.
  6. Businesses are going under because crime is down. When private property is not protected and taking it at will is not a crime then businesses go under BECAUSE “crime” is down.
  7. Are these the people doing all of the legitimate oppressing? Good decision making should be penalized in order to achieve equity. We could take their money and give it to others. That is a novel idea.
  8. Lame attempt at a joke. I retract it.
  9. "Legitimately oppressed"?!? No there are not. Oppression is never legitimate. Wasn't that the justification for slavery?
  10. FIFY
  11. Hamas is considered POCs and "oppressed". "Oppressed" people can commit any crime and it will be completely ignored because their "oppressed" status makes them completely indemnified against any requirement to act as humans. The same principle is applied to the situation in urban America. Of course, the question is hypothetical and the author already knows the answer.
  12. “Right now, Michigan has 104.5% of our state’s voting-age population registered to vote. No photo ID is required to vote. We have no system to tell if someone votes in multiple states and the current secretary of state failed to remove 170,000 names from the voting rolls of people who no longer lived in the state until after she was sued,” The banana republic of Michigan is gaining notoriety at every opportunity.
  13. Does not the term "official acts" become the qualifier of the absolute?
  14. I see this as the SC simply endorsing the principle of qualified immunity enjoyed by every government worker from dog catcher to judges to DAs. Seems like a very pedestrian, benign, and uncontroversial decision if one accepts the QI concept. Why the hysteria ( disguised as snark)?
  15. Good thing the Japs and krauts did not think of this during WWII. Maybe we would not have waved them in. Biden would have.
  16. https://babylonbee.com/news/dems-stick-with-biden-as-it-would-be-a-real-pain-to-reprint-these-ballots-they-already-filled-out
  17. "Men" and "Women" are not genders. They are FIT TYPES!!! And only two of those exist as is clearly stated in the bible and millenia of human existence. Natch.
  18. Very profound and very true in any context. Facts are not racist. Facts are not sexist. Facts are not transphobic. So why is it that any fact that does not make a black person appear godlike, or any fact that does not make all women appear flawless, or the fact that a man is not a woman cause the person who states it to face certain social ostracism and the very strong possibility of loss of ability to make a living up to and including total loss of freedom in some jurisdictions? Even in the case of Jewish people: Stating Jews in America have much more influence than the raw numbers of their population percentage would predict - a measurable fact - has caused more than one public figure to lose his job. However, it seems that stating Jews have won many more Nobel Prizes than the raw numbers of their population percentage would predict never results in a job loss.
  19. And how about a state where only citizens can? https://www.themainewire.com/2024/06/49-states-including-maine-are-handing-voter-registration-forms-to-illegal-immigrants-applying-for-welfare/
  20. I am of the opinion that money from outside a jurisdiction should not be able to be used for an election within that jurisdiction. Whether we are talking about local dog catcher or president. The money for an election should come only from within that jurisdiction. I don't know how to square this idea with the first amendment but if the supreme court can figure out how no American has standing when White House tells Twitter what can and can't be posted there then I am sure some supreme court (in)justice can figure out how to make the first amendment work in our favor to keep the foreign influencing PACs and Soros PACs out of our elections.
  21. Nice Sanctuary ya got there, New York. Now don't go imposing your patriarchal western racist imperial colonizing culture on this poor asylum seeking immigrant who is just giving the USA what we deserve by existing.
  22. The exact remorse being reported here would be interesting to know. The article is behind a paywall. This industry "news" site is usually left of hyper-progressives and has been a shill for EVs for at least half a decade. I would not be surprised if their conclusion is that the remorse is that the EV subsidies are too small, EV mandates are too weak, and the biggest remorse is that vehicles operating on organic fuels were not banned during the 1973 oil embargo.
  23. Problems for whom? Democrats' goal is to have illegal aliens registered in many states and then have those ballots cast in every one of those states. Illegal aliens will get to vote more often than any legal citizen anywhere. You are a racist if you don't think this is a good idea and a election denier if you think this is evidence of election fraud in any way.
  24. news flash: 340 million Americans are in danger of experiencing a heat phenomenon tomorrow called "summer". SUVs are to blame.
  25. The questions of the naive and innocent are so endearing.
