Most secure election in history. Most pope elections have more rigging, dossiers, ballot harvesting, fake FISA warrant applications, ballot count halts for burst water pipes and, you know, Republicans watching, etc. Where does this judge get off listening to and considering facts in making his rulings?!? Interesting analogy to a wrestling thing here. Thank you because it made me pause and think of its applicability. Of course we coach the kids that they have to work hard enough to beat the other kid and with enough margin to beat the ref also (or, to be less antagonistic, to overcome a bad or missed call). So, coming back to politics, how do you "win" by enough margin to beat the opponent AND beat the courts also when it is a fact that the referees are "homers" in the local areas run by the opponent? I.E. the other kids' step mom is the referee. Had Trump remained a Democrat and won would he have been impeached? Indicted in New York? Had a pee pee tape dossier released on him and FBI officials/agents ADMIT they lied to FISA courts about him? Had all of his historical business activities investigated? How about if he simply had kept saying "you're fired" on TV? Not a single fact about his business dealings has changed between 2015 and now. What could possibly have caused the deals to be scrutinized now and not when they actually happened . . . ? What happened? I can't think of a thing. WKN, do you think the referees are not betting (or dependent) on the outcome of the game they are refereeing?

My last sentence was meant to be slyly provocative so I guess it accomplished that. However, I am sorry to disappoint with the very constrained focus of my comments on facts and have no conspiracy theory with which to entertain my brethren.

Here is my guess: Those without a second amendment recognizing their God-given right to discard a government that threatens their other God-given rights.

"Supporter" implies policy alignment with said groups. I am comfortable with rejecting this implication of your statement. I do not deny that the US State Department and our "intelligence" organizations have an absolutely horrible record of picking who will be the long term good guys and bad guys and therefore are the biggest funding source of many crazy organizations overseas - especially in their incipient stages. I ABSOLUTELY AGREE that we should stop giving money to "these" groups. In fact, we never should have started giving money to them. I define "these" groups as any group of non-America citizens. I also believe that our government should not be giving money to groups of American citizens in general. I cannot find the authority in the Constitution for the federal government to give money to any group based on any criteria whatsoever other than direct employees or companies hired to perform US Government services in support of enumerated powers. Radical, huh?

Nevertheless, if a population tolerates and harbors a cancer and it metastasizes beyond your boundaries then eradicating the cancer will be very painful and collateral damage (i.e. clean tissue) is sacrificed. It is unfortunate. Regardless, unconditional surrender and eradication (i.e. excising the cancer) is required. Detente is impossible. "Remission" of the cancer is beyond the ability of my analogy to stretch.
