  1. Mineo is spitballing based on little details from social media. He was also pretty confident Gable was wrestling last year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I was kinda just throwing crap at the wall to mess with an Iowa fan, but yes you’re probably right Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Just wait until Lilledahl goes to Penn State, Bassett and Forrest go to Cornell, and Anthony Knox goes to Princeton. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Gable is not coming back. We should put all rumors to bed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. According to Flo, yes. Minnesota desperately needs a 1-2 year transfer at heavyweight. If they miss out on all of Nevills, Davison, or the Harvard kid it would be a massive flop. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Can you take an Olympic shirt if you have a redshirt available? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Is he 174 with Rogotzke/Shumate 184? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. If Welsh, Barr, Max McEnelly and Brayden Thompson are all going into 184, that’s a heck of a talent infusion into one weight with one class. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Dylan Ness Gator Bacon GOAT Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Is Kannon Webster going to be a 141 or 149 do you think? Wouldn’t be surprised if he could win that 49 spot right away if he’s big enough. Kids a stud. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Think there’s a chance Pinto goes down? Would have been nice to keep Haas in case he did. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Eye test, I could be wrong, but is Sinclair going to break the record for shortest 197 ever? Guy looks 5’6. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Whiting is the kid that beat Abe Assad while in high school, right? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Joel VanderVere was a highly ranked recruit coming out. But has only wrestled 6 matches in two years and is 2-4. Curious if he finds a spot in the lineup? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Foy already announced he’s done. Joles undecided. Blockhus and Lee would fill it, yes, but a lot fans are eager to see some fresh faces. There’s a lot of talent waiting in the wings at 141-157. The plan dating back to when Sparks committed was for him to go 174. I’m surprised it’s taken this long. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Minnesota 125 Troy Spratley 133 Aaron Nagao 141 Vance Vombaur 149 Tagen Jamison 157 Drew Roberts 165 Cael Carlson/Hunter Lyden 174 Andrew Sparks/Sam Skillings 184 Isaiah Salazar 197 True Freshman Gavin Nelson or Transfer HWT Bennett Tabor That’s if none of McKee, Brayton, Blockhus or Joles come back. 17. Probably Michigan, yes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Truax in the portal has Penn State written all over it. Smaller programs losing their guys to the big ten sucks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. The long term plan is for McEnelly and Nelson to be 184 and 197. They anticipate making that work fairly easily. I think Hopke’s decision is coming down to Wisconsin or Minnesota but you can never rule out Cael. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. The gophers… ugh. Heavily impacted by injuries this year after losing Gable. Brayton Lee was a shell of his former self, Patrick McKee and Bailee O’Reilly wrestling with 10 pound knee braces, etc. There were a couple bright spots in Aaron Nagao and Isaiah Salazar (who I’m still shocked didn’t AA). This team has been heavily impacted the last few years by getting next to no production out of the classes of 2016, 2017 and 2019 while other teams like Michigan and Iowa had all stars going at their 6th and 7th year. The 2018 class of Gable, Brayton, and McKee was the only thing keeping the team afloat. I think this current gopher staff is proven to be good at developing kids to a high potential, Jakob Bergeland and Bailee O’Reilly being as good as they are without being ranked in the top 150 as recruits is a good indicator of that. HOWEVER, the issue for the years following the Xanax scandal was clearly recruiting. It seems that they’ve gotten a little bit out from under the shade of that by landing top 15 recruit Troy Spratley, Cadet world team members in Max McEnelly and Gavin Nelson, Fargo champ Tagen Jamison, and are heavy in the mix for double style world champ Koy Hopke. They need to keep the momentum going on that front and try to land some transfers as well. They’re also now running the risk of bottlenecking the program with guys like McKee, Blockhus and Brayton coming back for 6th years and taking spots from recruits of the classes of 2021 and 2022 they’ve spent a lot of time and money on that could transfer if they have to sit again. COVID year could strike again on that front. End of rant Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Vance Vombaur, 141 Minnesota. He’ll technically be a redshirt sophomore because Bergeland came back for his COVID year. Had a nice win against AA Clay Carlson at the SDSU dual in December. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. AJ Nevills graduates, insert Seth at SDSU Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Are we really doing the Carr to Penn State thing again lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
