  1. Everyone needs to shift their HWT rankings down… and put Gable back at #1 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I consider myself to be someone who follows the top level of high school wrestling/recruiting relatively close, but Walters and Jenkins do not ring any bells. Are they on the same tier as some of those other guys? Rylan Rogers I know. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I was thinking Arnold is a 174 and Kueter plays football but for the sake of argument it’s definitely a noteworthy group Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Which trio ends up best? (I may have weights wrong but best guess I suppose?) Thompson-Merrill-Carroll OkSt McEnelly-Nelson-Hopke Minn Ryder-Mirasola-Mirasola PSU Rogotzke-Geog-Feldman tOSU Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. No question. Picking a guy that hasn’t actually won one yet over a potential 4 timer is high quality trolling though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. He’s wrestling… for Minnesota Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I think it’s just not fully updated yet Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I believe so, yes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I think there’s a chance Max McEnelly could go for Minnesota right away at 174, and Gavin Nelson at 197. I think both would be competitive right away. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Brandon Eggum is going nowhere. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. The original poster is purely speculating lol. He’d be a good target for most teams. What are we doing here? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Willie said it on his show today, and it’s all the talk here in the land of 10,000 lakes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. He’s coming back Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Adding Gable back at HWT should increase Minnesotas point total quite a bit Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I would strongly advise against making those comments, yes. But if I let public comments on the internet get to me I wouldn’t live a very happy life. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. As there is with most situations, there’s a lot more nuance to what has been going on with Lee than what should be shared on a forum. A change of scenery is not a bad outcome here for both parties. I wish Brayton Lee luck no matter where he goes or what he does in life. Great person. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I think matching money will be very difficult Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Last week at this time I thought the Gable to Iowa rumors were silly. Now, not so much… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. This is one of the best takes I’ve seen on this issue not just in this forum but anywhere. Surprised we do not see it more. Relatively small adjustment that could go a long way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I am of the opinion that the Supreme Court is probably right in that the Biden admin way overstepped in pushing this plan out. However, I agree that it is a little confusing the reaction this plan got from those that sit in silence when big banks, big farmers, big airlines etc. get government bailouts by taxpayer money in the same way. Why is the average student loan payer held to a higher standard? I also think it’s a terrible long-term outlook for our countries economy to have over a trillion dollars in student loan debt. For many, this will never be paid off and is financially crippling. This fact is bad for all of us, and something should probably be done other than “you made your bed when you were 17 now lie in it”. I’m not sure this blanket forgiveness plan was the right thing. I think there are more nuanced answers than that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Multiple freaky different injuries really took a toll on crucial developmental years for him. I think and hope he can still be a plus starter, but I am in the minority that I don’t think he’s big enough to be a 174. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. My prediction is Lyden 165 Skillings 174, with Sparks backing up Lyden and Wasley backing up Skillings. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I’d be shocked if 157 is a possibility for Carlson. Remains to be seen if Sparks is actually moving up, but the bigger reason Carlson is leaving I think is because neither him or Sparks can beat redshirt freshman Hunter Lyden. I was really hoping NDSU for Carlson. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Patrick Kennedy ain’t leaving Iowa. He’s been a Hawkeye since he could walk. They’ll make the lineup work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. They’ve not done as well, obviously. We’re talking about Gable though, aren’t we? I actually think Eggum and co. Have proven to be pretty good at development. Getting an AA out of Jake Bergeland, who wasn’t ranked in the top 150 in his class as a recruit, turning similarly unranked recruits like Bailee O’Reilly, Garrett Joles, Jake Gliva and Cael Carlson into respectable big ten wrestlers, etc. There haven’t been a ton of highly ranked guys that have come here and flopped since Eggum really took over. It’s the recruiting/retaining department they’ve sucked at. We know this, but it’s not the topic of discussion. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
