  1. You'll note that I said "If he was accepted."
  2. If Sergio Vega was accepted at Cornell, he would have gotten into West Point.
  3. She refused to undertake that medical procedure, has attempted to compete in longer distance events that don't require such treatment, and is currently in court challenging the (new) requirement.
  4. There is not. It is called "not being enrolled." Call it what you will. Yianni, Arujau, and Max Dean all were not enrolled. The Ivy League didn't care *why* they were not enrolled; all they cared about was whether they were enrolled (and thus using a year of eligibility) or whether they were still within the "four in five (or COVID six)" rule.
  5. If Arujau beats Jax, then how much training time he had is irrelevant, right?
  6. Not sure how that relates to Arujau, who graduated in 2023. In any case, in the Ivy League there really is no such thing as an "Olympic red shirt," just as there is no such thing as a generic red shirt. If you are enrolled, your eligibility clock is running. In addition, you have five years after graduating HS to get your four Ivy years of eligibility; that was modified to four in *six* due to the lost COVID year.
  7. Arujau was out of eligibility.
  8. Composto, 2xAA, 4th last year.
  9. U23 Most Outstanding Wrestler Award: Vince Cornella TF 10-0, TF 10-0, TF 10-0, TF 10-0, TF 10-0 in 12:07 total time Best 2 of 3: TF 16-5 (3:54), Fall (:49) via assassin
  10. Maybe because they aren't always "random?" https://www.usada.org/resources/playclean/ No, they couldn't have. USADA knows where to find people in the testing pool because those people tell USADA where to find them on any given day. USADA doesn't go searching for someone who is to be tested, even if they have a hunch where that person is.
  11. As I said before, only someone careless or clueless gets popped in-competition.
  12. 1) Lance Armstrong would like a word 2) Only dumb or careless dopers get caught
  13. How many elite athletes who are in the testing pool go on 20-60 day wilderness/mountaineering trips?
  14. I'm going with being charitable and thinking that a lot of these statements are satirical.
  15. You made an incorrect assumption. My observation has nothing to do with his high school. Continue with your outrage.
  16. What health issues is Vito currently facing?
  17. And a lot of them are lying about it.
  18. I don't know in what direction Grey (note the spelling that Cornell fans probably should know) is moving the needle that you disagree with. He seems to be a religious guy, but he keeps that to himself. In the Class of 2025, there are four NJ guys, one NY guy (Elijah D), one PA guy (Correa), and two California guys (Cortez brothers), not to mention he-who-got stolen from AZ. All in the top 60 in Flo's Big Board. Class of 2026 has five guys in the top 100: one each from CA, PA, OK, CO, and VA. I like that needle direction.
  19. Not enough Jesus at Cornell, I think. Although they did recruit Adrian DeJesus, so there's that.
  20. Yeah, because losing 3.5 pounds per day for a week is just like losing 1/2 pound *per hour* for 72 straight hours.
  21. A number of the elite HSers have skipped their senior year of wrestling and trained at a RTC or the OTC.
  22. Not fair: there's no evidence Dake is not intelligent, and plenty to indicate he is intelligent. What he appears to lack is a good sense of critical thinking when it comes to science, especially when the evidence goes counter to his pre-conceptions and world view.
