For a completely different reason, I did reference ICE's web site (and their reference of ICE as being LEO was included in the web site reference.) I assumed intelligent readers wouldn't confuse the point that was being made with somehow it being me legitimizing the rest of what ICE's web site included. Not a random thread - based on observations. The AI posts are starting to become more frequent. They stick out because they are so poorly done right now... but as they get better, they won't stick out as much. They will get better. A lot better. That is inevitable. At some point, probably sooner than later, they won't stick out at all. I created the thread as a kind of public service announcement. Some folks don't need it here, some folks do. If you prefer to dig your head into the sand and not deal with reality - maybe you've been hitting that cough medicine.

ICE doesn't need proof of crime to arrest. They can pick up guys outside Home Depot or in a field harvesting crops or outside a courtroom where they were following up on their 100% legal immigration status. Zero proof of crime required. That's already been well covered - and it's absolutely horrendous. Yet it is happening every day all over the country. 2. ICE doesn't need a warrant. That's the part you fixated on, because you wanted to draw attention away from the 'crime' part I just addressed in #1. You are sick sack of sh**. My point was that they have no proof of crime AND no warrant - which is what makes it illegal. In other words - no crime and no warrant? No matter, ICE will still grab you up and send you to another country. That's how secret police work in all the shithole countries... and, now we join the ranks.

Per the ice.gov web site, ICE does not need a warrant to make an arrest ICE officers are sworn federal law enforcement officers who operate within the confines of the law. Section 287 of the Immigration and Nationality Act provides ICE officers the authority to arrest aliens without a judicial warrant. The warrant is the piece that makes an arrest legal and 'warranted' (thus the name.) If ICE arrest people without a warrant, it's based only on their personal choice. Which is hella-scary. Does it require a crime? No - it does not. It's just based on their personal choice.

For law enforcement, that's true. For ICE, that's not true. They need neither any proof of crime nor any warrant. They don't even need badges. They are a problem for this very reason. They aren't law enforcement, and they are accountable to no cities, no counties, no states, and even no federal law enforcement agencies. They are only accountable to the White House. In case anyone would wonder why some of us call them "secret police" is because they are exactly that. And the billions that they are being funded by (in the big fat ugly bill) makes their budget ridiculous. The ICE secret police's budget ranks them as the 5th largest military budget in the world. (No other US groups involved, this is just the budget of ICE.) If you want a US secret police that can grab up and 'disappear' anybody at any time to never be seen again (like they have in China, Russia, and many other shithole countries) - then ICE is your thing. For everybody else, ICE is a nightmare that should be eliminated ASAP. They are a shit show.

Why are we welcoming immigrants from South Africa while we are arresting non-criminal immigrants from Mexico who have families and are working full-time jobs, and putting them in cages to be deported to countries they aren't even from?
