That post is incredibly weak: You are informing us that you voted for Obama... because something you can't remember. You note that he "didn't really govern that way"... which is a reference to the above point. The one where you don't really remember. Which is 100% useless to anyone reading your post. It seems it is because the majority of the ticket buyers are roughly in their late teens. The demographic that is highly impacted by fads and hype. As a capitalistic society, if it makes money it is in - quality is secondary at best. Apple owes a considerable part of their fortune to the same demographic. But they are at least committed to quality... which is reassuring.

Not really. Like other types of publishing, the thing about posting is that there is ONE author and a BUNCH of readers. For an author to expect all of the readers to try to figure out what they are trying to communicate to make a connection is the very definition of terrible writing. Any quality author realizes that their job is to communicate in a style that makes it easy for the readers to follow and connect with. I don't blame the problem on you, Scouts Honor, I just think you aren't at that level yet.

Good post. For me, the interesting thing here is that nobody commented on it. I suspect it is because both parties have been guilty of doing this exact thing for many years. And, since most here seem to post with a particular L or R bent in mind - they didn't have much ground to stand on. As a middle of the road guy, I see it as an insightful, useful perspective.
