Another Prophet of the Culture War. He's gonna save us all from mass shootings by typing about trans folks who make up less than 1% of the population and less than 1% of the mass shooters. I want to believe all this "make a difference!" energy has good intentions, but it would do so much more good volunteering or donating in the community or something else tangible rather than being an edgy guy on a message board.

They're pretty equal so you have to base it on minor differences. With that in mind it's hard to give the edge to Dake without an Olympic Gold. Also philosophically wrestling is about imposing your will on your opponent and Taylor did that more often to more opponents than Dake who relies more on his opponent making a mistake. Again no knock on Dake but if you have to split hairs then those hairs are worth splitting.

There are indeed warning signs for this kind of violence, but gender identity/sexuality by itself ain't one of them. There's plenty of actual psychological research, editorials, interviews, etc. Law enforcement, schools, and the mental health field deal with this regularly. Anyone interested in learning more about the topic should do so from real-live expert humans rather than politically motivated pundits, websites, social media etc.

From the list given I'd say Taylor. Olympic Gold outweighs everything, including head-to-head competition. I mean, from the list given I'd say Dake. 11 medals including Hodge for Dake, versus 10 medal including Hodge for Taylor. Actually I'd say Taylor based on strength of competition (Yazdani mainly). On second thought, I'd say Dake since he beat Taylor every time. I think I need to leave work now lol

Some people are worth blocking lol BT is probably greyshirting. Training up, working on school, learning. Not having to worry about competition can be a relief. If he was redshirting we would have seen him by now, I think. I’ve seen him in social media posts and at duals so he’s definitely around.

This is what I’ve noticed too. Sometimes he isn’t even gripping his opponent but manages to muscle him around.

All good i do think it’d be hilarious to see Ferrari(s) get dinged every time they go down on a knee. Just for the comedic value. But changing the rules around it… meh. Techniques evolve.

I’m an OSU fan and I complain about both. And I’ll complain about you! Watch out My post was tongue in cheek bud. It’s not that serious. I’ve asked several times in these convos how knee stalling can be beat because I’m genuinely curious from a technique standpoint. It’s a little silly to want refs to “fix it”

I think so back in the 90s. I was young but my brain tells me that’s what it was. Then they added criteria so OT wouldn’t take forever.

Weird dual. Both teams pretty flat. Stall calls (and lack of) were so bad. Ferrari ducked once the dual was clinched? Vega gets a freaky pin. Taylor slaps Robideau for a whole match. Lockett literally crawls around the mat. Just odd all around lol

I assume you mean me, but I avoided wrestling media before finishing the dual so I didn't know the outcome. I just think its funny to start a thread complaining about homerism and mention nothing about the dual itself. At least these commentators knew something about wrestling. One of the last duals I watched, the commentator said something like "its a tech fall but since he didn't get back points the team only gets 4 points". I mean that's... embarrassing lol. This dual had some really weird stall calls. And lack of stall calls. Swid should've been hit with more stalls. Ryder won on a stall call that was nonsense. I dunno man, stall calls have always been somewhat subjective but since they added out-of-bounds stall calls a few years ago it seems like it's gotten worse.

Rankings should be based on results, not predictions or wishful thinking. I have no problem with crystal ball lists but that is different than a ranking IMO
