  1. Yes. This complicates things a bit, it seems.
  2. There is precedent to allow "time already served."
  3. It is probably called "PSU glasses" approach. He has already misrepresented the process and invented scenarios where a Judas or two is trying to bring him down. Look up the definition of "lying."
  4. You are right, I should have said 'DT leaked the news' without quotes; or even 'someone leaked the news.' But I did not characterize "everything" as a lie, did I? I characterized certain aspects of his narcissistic interview as a lie. 100% he is lying, but I never said 100% of EVERYTHING is a lie. Sounds like you have a problem with the truth? Do you actually believe that he is being 100% truthful about everything? Let's start with the prescription and take it all the way to the softball interview. Has he left anything out or made anything up? How is this "anti PSU glasses" BTW? The guy he beat and is attacking was a PSU poster boy!
  5. How? Are you suggesting that I am being hypocritical? In what way? I'm not allowed to look at Brooks the same way that I looked at Fix? If you think its an Iowa thing, at no point did I argue that the Iowa guys were not deserving of sanctions. Are you claiming Brooks has not at least lied to us by omission? Or that he hasn't committed character lies (false or misleading impressions : "it is not Adderall," "DT leaked this news.") And yeah, after the last month, I am not a huge Brooks fan, but I'll root for him if he is absolved of wrongdoing. What don't you get?
  6. 100% lying. Keep in mind there are three types of lies: 1. lies of of commission 2. lies of omission 3. character lies Brooks is certainly not being truthful in one or more of those ways.
  7. Downey wasn't full blown Downey at the time. This situation also could have been avoided if the NLWC wasn't the viper pit that we now know it is. They did Bo dirty. This is becoming more and more apparent.
  8. I don't hate PSU, it is the fans that are annoying. I definitely do not like drug cheats, though. I'm very consistent on that. And it is not speculation. He is "bearing false witness." That is not how the TUE system works, as previously mentioned. I'll root for Brooks as long as he is absolved of wrongdoing; otherwise I will pay attention to him like I pay attention to Daton Fix. If this goes south for Brooks under Cael's watch, will this reflect a lack of administrative control within the program and potential consequences for the staff?
  9. You dirty nationalist!
  10. The part where his lips move and he doesn't tell the truth?
  11. When did he file, with whom? You seem to know more about this than anyone.
  12. Actually the Chael stuff came first..
  13. Amazing number of posters confusing the Sooners and the Cowboys on various boards and social media!
  14. LOL well, he was clearly using a banned substance that he received a somewhat suspicious TUE for late in his academic career. That much is true. The issue is going to be with somehow screwing up his paperwork for U23. He was using a PED at UWW U23 that he was not cleared for at the time. That is problematic.
  15. To wrestle him like China did, RBY would actually have to shoot. Check his score against their common opponent from the pan am tournaments. Better yet, watch the match. RBY knew where he stood vs Gilman, just like Gilman knew where he stood vs Lee. Both got as far away as they could.
  16. Nothing before or since. However, I for one have difficulty believing that a model athlete such as Angle would touch PEDs. Too much integrity and intelligence.
  17. Cleared for OTT, by US. The same groups that Chael claim "swept Kurt Angle's hGH positive under the rug."
  18. It has happened in Judo, too. On at least one occasion the Iranian disregarded the policy and fought the Israeli. He has not returned home.
  19. Aj Ferrari and company. (and Tervel Dlagnev, very good college heavyweight but wouldn't say a "legend." Great international career and doing well coaching)
  20. Mixed in with a lot of excited schoolgirl/fanboy giggles!
  21. 180 is the new 57 kg, but only if weigh ins are in Serbia. All kidding and suspicion aside, I find it very difficult to believe that there was actual weigh in hanky panky in a room full of other 57s.
