  1. Yes, it seems like Zo is a no-brainer.
  2. Jax was cornered by Zo and Coeman Scott at Last Chance!
  3. There's always the RTC. I think DT has gotten some promises of big funding for the RTC from boosters. I thought Gwiz might be a possibility, because he is very tight with Taylr. He would often stay with the Taylor family and train at State College. However, it now sounds as if he is moving back to NC, where his wife has a job and Gwiz will be pursuing opportunities outside of wrestling. Apparently, he is done with coaching.
  4. I think MMA could work for him, but he needs to be willing to put a full effort in. I would suggest AKA where Cormier and Cain Velasquez trained. They have a history of turning big guys with wrestling skills into world champs.
  5. This is true. Head coach McDermott is a 2x National Prep champ. May have trained at the junior Foxcatcher club? So yeah, he likes wrestling. I think Cael may have actually let him attend practice and observe the inner workings at PSU at some point, coach to coach. The Burroughs thing is a bit more interesting than it appears on the surface. Despite being from NJ, JB is a Bills fan. Why? His wife is the niece of Bills HOF RB Thurman Thomas. So it was a given that he would be invited to speak when he attended training camp as a guest.
  6. Didn't get a lot of playing time. I think he was in goal line D.
  7. Mocco won for both schools (2003 Iowa, 2005 Oklahoma State.) I think this was referring to him being a backup DT on the OSU football team. He had never played football in his life.
  8. Not really a joke. I am pretty aware of ADHD, the diagnosis of ADHD, and medications to treat it. Part of my job is to evaluate individuals who are in the process of being diagnosed. If his issue was only presenting issues as part of his academic life, he should probably go off of it, especially considering side effects of the drug and risk of dependency. If attention problems are presenting themselves in social or work (professional athlete) settings then he would have reasons to remain on it.
  9. Brooks and his opinions on which prophets are true or false! Has he made his opinion on Joseph Smith known?
  10. So, we expect him to remain on the medication after his academic career is over?
  11. And Reece Humphrey, who's opinion I trust was gushing over Lee's high crotch and how he is able to get in good position to finish (hips in , chest up , head in tight; good angle) so effortlessly. Said 57 kg have to have the best technique on earth to be successful. I'm guessing because they are so squirrely. Reece also said that Spencer may be the best American we have ever seen on top. He did say in the more recent era "where they don't give you 45 seconds on top." This makes me think of Nico Megaludis and how tough he wrestled Spencer in par terre their first two meetings. At the time I marvelled at Nico's strength, length, flexibility, and toughness. I didn't think many other guys could bring that to the table. Thankfully, it appears as if I may be right for once.
  12. Yes, I think the (fictitious) alleged ankle kicking assault took place at an Iowa City Burger King.
  13. I think he left stuff out, but I am all for him winning a gold. Who else would I root for? (And I will still never support Fix)
  14. Great to hear! Go Aaron! Go USA!
  15. Thy suspended him, but indeed it was during his redshirt.
  16. He's special in that he is probably the only one who publicized it. He must be aware that some see him as putting the bad in BADger.
  17. I'm doubting it would come to that, but could potentially get weird from the time of the positive test in the Fall. I don't think anyone will really want to see that happen.
  18. https://www.ncaa.org/sports/2015/1/23/medical-exceptions-procedures.aspx
  19. Hey! Sounds like a brother in law in need of a job! Maybe Thomas can put in the good word?
