  1. Well who TF said 10:00 AM? Was it Aleutian Time?
  2. Noto likely gets an AQ for the MAC, and that could be the factor. I think MAC might reward those who earn the AQ with the top seed(s).
  3. I think West might get seeded above Noto. They are 2W - 1L against common opponents. Common opponent's this season: Noto, Lock Haven (14-2, 4-1 MAC) - Sotello, Harvard - LOST via DEC 11-8 - Aranda, Cleveland State - WON via DEC 5-2 - Klinsky, Rider - WON via DEC 8-2 West, Northern Illinois (24-5, 9-1 MAC) - Sotello, Harvard - LOST via DEC 11-8 - Aranda, Cleveland State - WON via TECH 16-1 - Klinsky, RIder - WON via DEC 8-5 Noto lost to Clarion's Fischer (15-10, 6-3 MAC). West lost to Central Michigan's Spidle (14-8, 7-1 MAC). West has avenged his loss this year, as well and holds the most recent win over Spidle. Actually looking further in to Spidle and Slinsky and it makes me think they might be swapped, too. The other main factor, that might only matter to me, is that West wrestled against Lock Haven and won. Noto didn't show.
  4. I think it is more along the lines of overcompensation for being so underwhelming in other, more personal areas. The guy is a jealous little child and can't stand when he isn't the center of attention. That is why he blocks anyone who calls him out on his lack of testicular fortitude... because he has none. All three of those are also scientific fact when speaking about said Minnow.
  5. I have been hoping to see him give it a go on the scene, but to no avail. Now, I don't think he would necessarily make the team at 86 KG, but I would love to see him try (assuming he can't make 74 KG a few years out from making it). He is basically following in his dad's footsteps, it seems. Raising another solid generation of Massa Maniacs. Pretty stoked to see what he does.
  6. Needed a reset, mate. High school season just ended and it's my first time coaching full time in decades. I have been creeping and busting balls on Twatter.
  7. Starts out 16-0 on Iowa and 0-15 on Nebraska?
  8. I mean... I had it 22-12 Penn State... might have to switch to 60-0...
  9. So Penn State is going to pull the ole AJ Focus on Iowa tonight, from what both of these matches are telling us...
  10. So Michigan destroying Iowa was an Iowa thing then...
  11. Brandon Meredith Brody Teske Gavin Teasdale Jared Verkleeren Tony Negron Nicky Pushups
  12. Even though the details might be 51-99% correct they are still then, in fact, not correct. Case in point here. He removed his post about this not too long afterwards.
  13. Guy seems a bit old to be a Frosh at Mizzou. Is he on the Tanner Hall diet? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Cross I know the Furious Five are expected to make an appearance in Kung Fu Panda 4, but I am not seeing him being credited as Crane, so that is disappointing. I am still looking forward to the movie, though. I haven't practiced my Kung Fu in a few weeks, so... a release date of March 8th... can't wait!
  14. What? He didn't say Crookham was the best Freshman. He asked who other than Crookham would, or should, be in consideration. 'Best' wasn't even the question, to begin with. Also, he asked who was the toughest Freshman. Toughest does not equal best, however I will concede this to you for now. If you can't understand why Crookham's name would have been a headliner more than any other Freshman this year, then you aren't following wrestling, either. Is there another Freshman that beat a defending World Champion at their weight this year that the rest of us didn't see? Is it because of the World Champion that he beat that you're saying he isn't the best (toughest) Freshman? I am having trouble following your logic here, so please educate us (me). Additionally, of the Freshman who are in conversation of best (toughest) there are only a few that I might put in the conversation of being the best while also being the toughest. Crookham (Lehigh, 14W - 0L) McEnelly (Minnesota, 15W - 0L), and Arnold (Iowa, 11W - 0L) are the three that I think would fit both categories, while also being undefeated. Two (2) of them are (still) on Redshirt, which leaves one (1) left in Crookham.
  15. Motion granted.
  16. Awesome stuff, Wkn! Honestly when I saw @1032004's predictions I actually thought to myself 'That looks to be the most sensible one, yet.' Pretty cool that he about nailed it.
  17. If Michigan doesn't nab him, I hope he heads to North Carolina and reunites with Koll.
  18. ~90ish +/- depending on bonus, I think?
  19. Taylor is an AA threat at 165, otherwise best-case seems abiut right.
  20. Hurt, unfortunately.
  21. It's a unique opportunity he has, for sure (as well as Brooks and Star, should they take it). And should he complete the feat, it will be part of the discussion for decades when discussing the greatest college resumes. I just strongly disagree that it would count for less than all the other 4 timers as you proclaim. All the other guys other than Dake took a redshirt at some point to accomplish the feat. It would be easy to argue that third as a true freshman is more impressive than redshirting (i.e. 3,1,1,1,1 > RS,1,1,1,1). Precisely why if Sta(l)rocci won five, he would be the actual GOAT. 1,1,1,1,1? C'mon man... epic feat.
  22. By my aforementioned logic if you haven't wrestled at NCAAs then you don't get to criticize him for (potentially) winning four. Even though I have, I still reserve the right to not criticize him. Sit down, kid.
  23. How many did you win? Did you ever even make it to NCAAs as a competitor in D1 college wrestling, let alone win a single title there? If not, then you have no clue what it takes. Sit down.
