  1. Oh. Wow. Tahz gets a TD out the gate in the 2nd, though. 4-2 early in the 2nd.
  2. 4-0 for the actual Cap over Poland at the break. That is like Valencia leading 8-0 after 45 seconds.
  3. Yoshida up on the Georgian 3-2 right now midway through the first.
  4. How big is Kyle Snyder actually? I know he is massive in terms of musculature. He is always the smaller (framed) wrestler. Could he trim down and go 92 KG or even 86 KG? Get somewhere his frame allows him to be average sized? This is obviously a joke. It's just hilarious to me that he is always thinner (at the shoulder) and shorter than anybody R16 and on at Worlds.
  5. RBY is looking to bring home a medal in the same bracket that Lee didn't get the chance to wrestle for one at.
  6. FWIW, the guy has only lost to Nick Lee from the USA. He's beaten Shnaulty, Lugo, Cornella, and a few others rather convincingly. He has also gotten destroyed by Sujeet a half dozen times this year, so that is hard to ignore.
  7. I think he is, and should be favored.
  8. Also, the YOLO challenge was to try to get Amouzad on a stepout. It was right in front of 'Ringer and he thought Amouzad's knee went down first. Unfortunately, the only guy I think that can hang with Amouzad in his half of the bracket is Sujeet, and Amouzad looked very gassed. I don't think Sujeet is anywhere near as good as Amouzad, but if Amouzad doesn't have much time to recover, it could bite us in the ass.
  9. He was aggressive, which you don't see that against Amouzad, typically. Amouzad was also more chirpy than I've ever seen him. Complaining a lot. Was clearly gassed early, which is typical against the USA. It makes me wish we could have seen someone like Retherford against him (but that would have had to have been at 70 KG, not 65 KG Retherford). Unfortunately, we don't have anyone at 65 KG that is going to make that a match, I don't think. Maybe Mendez? Not really sure. I think Woods came in with the right gameplan. Come out firing and try to not give up any big moves. The problem with not trying to give up big moves while being aggressive is that it was Amouzad. Big, fast, and really fckn good. I was happy with Woods performance there.
  10. Amouzad looks fresh, fast, and sharp. Woods has a helluva match ahead of him next
  11. Honis with very low Mat IQ and gives up a pushout with 5 seconds left. Poor tactics.
  12. Because Ghasempour wasn't supposed to lose to him.
  13. I had it wrong, BTW. Dake did it in '18 and Cox in '19.
  14. Another challenge request. Zahid's feet were out.
  15. I could see them giving Zahid 1 or 2 here rather than 4.
  16. "I can't remember another run where someone has dominated like this." Dake and Cox both did it at 79 KG and 92 KG the same year once, right? Neither allowed a point that year?
  17. Now for a uniform. We thinking just a Tom Selleck stache?
  18. You're some form of Green Arrow - Hawkeye hybrid today.
  19. I thought he was leaving 65 KG a couple/few years ago.
  20. I am getting big boots Latina ads.
  21. No, he won. Controlled it, despite Georgia not trying to let him get to that undertook. It was like watching two 7th graders dance. Arms straight out just trying to stop Thicclay from getting close enough to rip his shoulder out of socket with an underhook.
  22. Shooting =/= wrestling. If the other guy got all the points off of it, it means you stopped wrestling. I know. Zero points scored.
  23. Carr stopped wrestling after 3:00 minutes and it cost him.
  24. I ate it, too.
  25. Big breaths from Valiev.
