  1. O'Toole said he is going. Not actually entered yet, but told Basch he was going.
  2. Page 2 is trash but 1 and 3 are okay.
  3. It is cringy in Folkstyle because against a certain tier guy and up all he tries is the ole sumo-push. Very little effort at anything else.
  4. On the other end, Starocci is going to lose so many matches by being stalled out on top.
  5. Schultzy is going to win so many matches 15 pushouts to zero.
  6. Any 55 year olds that like to surf still? Asking for a friend.
  7. You're going to upset Dr. @MPhillips. You shouldn't do that.
  8. I am all for a pushout if they adopt some sort of grounding rule. I am also more of the mind to switch to Freestyle full time. Honestly I think it would be cool to be able to implement Greco as well, but whatevs.
  9. Bouzakis to Iowa. So was some toolbag on here that came and went quite quickly it seems. Guy disappeared almost as soon as Bouzakis posted 'I am a tOSU Buckeye' on Instergram.
  10. I meant no insult, my apologies. I find your enthusiasm great and I am one of the people who think and hope the longer Pendleton is there the more likely OSUW us to become a player in the transfer game. I am all for that. Ah good deal. So not as damning in the P12 as it can be in the B1G.
  11. Are we talking about our best 97 KG (~213lbs) Freestyle wrestler or our best 197lbs (~89 KG) Folkstyle wrestler? The 197lb Senior version of Cael Sanderson would have beaten him soundly at Folkstyle and he wad a 184lber. Hell even now DT says that Cael owns the room even with Snyder there. You also understand that the only 197lb version of Snyder didn't just lose a fluke pin to Gadson right? He lost to him during the regular season as well as losing to Burak of Iowa in the dual and McIntosh of Penn State at B1Gs. So the 197lb version of Snyder that is our best 197lber ever lost four times the season he was the 'best' and didn't win either marquee tournaments he participated in (B1Gs/NCAAs). Snyder isn't our best 197lber ever.
  12. Wait a second... you usually say something snarky about heading to OSUW, so insert them, too? Jokes aside we saw a lot of 'free' transfers the last few years. A lot of those allowances are gone, aren't they? Like now if you want to transfer B1G to B1G the coaches can block it - forcing a one year sit (I think this goes in to effect as of now, not previously like with douchebag Bono)? Also, a second transfer means sitting a year too? How is the P12 for transfers within the same conference?
  13. Well that disappoints me even more as a wrestling fan! As an American, I wish him all the success this world has to offer. Everything we all hold dear we owe to young men like him that came before him. The safety and freedom if my posterity depends on him being the best. I am okay with that.
  14. He was joking. It's a Minnow thing.
  15. Guy would have three years left, yeah? If this was a deferred year he could also still redshirt too.
  16. Hrmmm.... who is it?
  17. The writing on the wall says that he should be able to, but he did say he would never see 65 KG again. That is still another 6lbs lighter than 149, but one has to wonder where his Freestyle aspirations are and if they are Olympic Gold Medals, then 157 makes more sense if he is 'never' making 65 KG again. Also, dropping 6lbs is much different than maintaining striking distance of 149lbs for an entire season
  18. Does Chittum entering U20 at 70 KG cement him in at 157 or 149 for college? Asking opinions here.
  19. I mean... I am also pipe-dreaming him to UofM at 125 as well... so...
  20. Ragusin, who is not known for size or strength, manhandled him and dwarfed him. I don't think he bulked up.
  21. That is why I hinged it on him making a decision based on injury. Four options: 1 - He turns down the 92 KG Final X bid. He is hurt and chances it at 97 KG. If he wins (wrestlers win hurt all the time) then he has until June 10th to heal up for Snyder. No chance at 92 KG this route. If he loses at the Open he can either heal up or try for WTT at 92 KG or 125 KG. 2 - He turns down the 92 KG bid and takes the season off and does not wrestle any weight at the Open or Trials. 3 - He accepts the bid for 92 KG. This gives him an additional ~6-ish weeks to prepare for whoever wins the US Open. 4 - He accepts the bid for 92 KG. He requests a continuation which would likely allow him another month or two to heal. If his injury is more than minor but less than severe, he may go the 92 KG route.
  22. According to Minnow - NARP!
  23. You're telling me a ~ 5'3", 120lbs 'Jesuroga' is going to be able to fireman carry 6'4", 225lb 'Keuter' for 400 meter run as easily as vice versa? That is a load of bollocks. Unless they pair them up by size and not randomly (which they pair up randomly in ~ '84/85) for team/partner drills. Which is an even greater load of bollocks if so. I have no doubt that NCAA D1 wrestling is more difficult, physically. He isn't a D1 wrestler, though. He was a D1 recruit. Weight classes exist for a reason, mate. Physically there will be some big things he will.br at a serious disadvantage at.
  24. I heard Minnow said that it is a package deal. Bouzakis and Decatur to Iowa for Ybarra and Spencer's two left knees.
