  1. Didn't he just try to Muay Thai knee ths shit out of Mason Gibson's cousin (Bassett a HS frosh next season) who just beat him soundly via a 4-1 Decision?
  2. I still believe. #BRETLIEBER4EVA
  3. Siebrecht is going 149 and Chittum will be 157. I am not even an Iowa insider and I know that.
  4. Nagao has narrowed it down to Minnesota, Cornell, Penn State and Iowa. That isn't technically his order or preference, however that is the order he said ut chronologically.
  5. I suppose both can exist separate and together at the same time and all three options would be true.
  6. This is absolutely batshit. You asked...
  7. @Husker_Du, may know.
  8. The weight would be settled well before the season started. Also Teske and Schriever are still at Iowa.
  9. I am looking forward to it, too. Him, Brayton Lee, David Carr, Shane Griffith, and Sammy Sasso were all in that 70 KG range a few years back and they were all going rounds. I would love to see them all at peak performance making a push.
  10. I hope you're right. I believe he is our best option, provided he is healthy.
  11. Teemer went up to 157 from 149 during gis redshirt season because he didn't see himself being able to chase a 65 KG Olympic Gold. 74 KG was his goal. Now you're going to make me chase down a 3-4 year ols interview. Also, if you think for one second he isn't on the same tier as Quincy Monday, then you haven't watched him wrestle.
  12. Does he intend to go 65 KG or 74 KG for his Olympic Gold dreams? My bet is 74 KG. That makes 165 make a lot more sense.
  13. Honestly I am thinking Parco at 141 is far more likely than Parco at 157. A peak performance team might be... 141 - Parco 149 - Vasquez 157 - Ramos I am still not sold on Ysa being their best option at 133 either. Chlebov is a legitimate NQ potential guy. I say a good option is to let Ysa do his redshirt proper next season.
  14. Vera, with all that talent, does tend to get out-toughed when it matters most after blowing everyone away when it doesn't, true. The one downside to Rau is that while he has not competed in Greco since 2020(1) Oly-trials he has competed in Freestyle. It has all been at 97 KG there, too, which is actially two weights up in Freestyle. He looms thinner in the neck and arms anf much more rotund in the gut region. As if he isn't taking competition serious and just going for fun. This should be the first time Coon has to wrestle Schultzy when Schultzy has been a full 130 KG. Schultzy didn't so much have a hard year as much as he was simply scouted and his game tactics were easy for folks to get around. He just chose not to evolve in Folkstyle and rely on only sumo push-out.
  15. See BOLD for comments.
  16. In his Barstool interview Lee said he hasn't even wrestled since NCAAs, that he wasn't healthy right now, and that 2024 is is focus while also saying that he always plans to compete just that sometimes health holds a higher priority. All signs point to him not wrestling at the 2023 US Open later this month.
  17. Hendrickson of Air Force in at 125 KG.
  18. Colon and Brewer in at 61 KG. Sasso in at 70 KG, Hepner at 74 KG, amd Kharchla at 79 KG for Ohio State.
  19. To be fair Slav mentioned one school and only ome school that he was interested in when he actually entered the portal last year: Michigan.
  20. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!! Slavikouski huh? Hahahahaha
  21. To be fair ever since he started being called Minnow and was called out for being Mr Operation Deleter it seems he has reduced how much he has been deleting and let it turn into arguing instead (to be more accurate he is simply more defensive and people argue with him for it). When that happened he started blocking people more. He also did post something regarding this recently and swore he was going to be more open and free about it. At the end of the day, he is doing more for generating wrestling discussion than anyone on here save for The Brain and maybe JB than anybody else on these forums - both here and elsewhere. The way I see it is the problem media gents have is that he isn't following their rules for 'reporting' and the problem us non-media gents have is that we are jealous (in our own ways). I just think he is a sissy. Say something and stick to it. Don't delete or block because someone can debate circles around you. Those are my thirteen cents. Antitroll has been very vocal about who he is(n't). There are several people on here I wrestled with or coached or even in one case was coached by... The wrestling world isn't that big once you start knowing people. Heinselman is there at HWT and Hensen at 133. I doubt it.
  22. Publicity stunt.
  23. Iowa has entered the chat. Desanto at 61 KG, Young at 74 KG, Marinelli at 79 KG, Kemerer at 79 KG, Keuter at 97 KG. No Woods, Lee, Murin, or Cassioppi. Nico and Mendez both in at 61 KG as well.
  24. Anyone care to gather the data on AAs at each tournament? Be nice to compare the CKLV, Scuffle, Midlands, and the Salute.
