  1. Bockman up at 197lbs again? Is that permanent?
  2. Lamer has beaten him 2x, including this last weekend. Edit: 3x total, 2 this season https://www.wrestlestat.com/compare/wrestler/73709/williams-jordan/70915/lamer-chance
  3. He won't have one loss now. Lost to Penn's Wasilewski today.
  4. I doubt it. Henson beat Lovett who beat McNeil this season.
  5. Sealey won his World Title, but I agree on the latter sentiment. It seems like every big match after his title was a controlling or dominating loss (Ferrari, Lockett).
  6. Lovett has RPI, Coaches Rank, and Quality Wins still to Lamer's Conference Title. I think Whalen has more work to do than Lamer to get it done. Whalen does 'only' have Fernandez to Lamer's Williams then Stiles at conferences, though.
  7. Does Henson get penalized for ducking the UNC-VTech dual? Especially since it cost VTech the dual. Without McNeil's Techfall the score was 15-17 in favor of VTech.
  8. I suppose McNeil could beat Henson at ACCs and throw a wrench in things...
  9. The only way the B1G gents aren't 2-4 at this point is IF one of them defaults for 4th or takes an outright loss. Even were Lamer to win out, I don't think he jumps any of the B1G gents. Edit: The REAL Italian Stallion, Realbuto beat Johnson today.
  10. Facundo was in cruches the week after he lost to Kasak. Even if he does transfer, I think a medical is going to happen.
  11. I don't think 103 is rooting for any guy in particular, just giving 'the eye' test to it. Also factoring in that there will be drama because backroom/unspoken deals do and have happened many times in seeding at conferences. IMO Miller beat him prior (this season) so he should not be penalized for sitting. Kasak has a loss to Miller (it does count) and Teemer has a loss to Kasak.
  12. Could just seed top 4 and have to lose to a finalist to make the consis. Also, you might have to wrestle four times to your opponents once in your consi finals. Also, also, there are two third placers in this dumb scenario.
  13. Brain's current projected... https://www.rokfin.com/ranking/4806/Projected-Big-Ten-Seed-Sheets Reasonings... https://www.rokfin.com/article/19361/Projected-B1G-Seeds
  14. @Husker_Du Poat your B1G seeds link here?
  15. I think so, yes. It still puts Taylor and Teemer on the other side, though.
  16. @SetonHallPirate
  17. I think he sits. There is reason to believe. He already holds a win over Blaze and the #1 seed is on the line. It is looking more and more like Teemer might end up getting the 6 or even 7 seed (see the link below for reasoning). That puts Askey and Blaze topside with him with Taylor, Kasak, and Teemer all on the bottom side. Ergo, there is reason to believe.
  18. FWIW, after seeing RPI and Parco at #1, I don't know that even if he were to take 3rd that he would drop below 4/5, which is a wash either way.
  19. If you look at the most recent rankings, 5 - McNeil, 6 - Johnson, 7 - DeMilio, 8 - Lamer. If (when) some of the B1G gents lose (DeMilio included) they will drop. The coaches aren't some super 'pristine' rankings committee and opinions are effected in losses - especially manner of losses. If Johnson and Lamer win out, I think they pass by the B1G 3rd in coaches ranking and McNeil. At least one of them, if not two of them (again manner of victory/loss are more greatly effected in the coaches rankings than anywhere else). So by the time the final coaches ranking comes out, assuming current rankings are how they finish at conferences, I think we are going to see... (in the coaches ranking) 1 - Henson 2 - SVN 3 - Parco 4 - Johnson 5 - Lovett 6- Lamer 7 - McNeil I wouldn't be surprised to see Johnson also jump Parco, or Lamer jump Lovett, either, as wins and losses do skew optics, and the coaches ranking is by human coaches. I do think that Johnson jumping Parco absolutely will not happen, even if Parco finishes 2nd at B1Gs. He wins the RPI battle (as of now) as well as I don't think Johnson passes him in the CR either (again optics - Johnson wins close matches, always).
  20. QW has nothing do do with ranking. I thought it was those who earned their conference allocation, but I was corrected and now understand that a Quality Win is anybody in the field. Meaning Parco's win over Echemendia doesn't count. He will not be in the field at 149lbs for NCAAs. So basically, if you go to Wrestlestat and take T33 wins, you'll get a fair idea.
  21. Ah, cool. That only helps Johnson, as his SoS is likely to be less, but he should have as many, if not more, Top 33 wins.
  22. Stiles only has five (5) matches at 149lbs. He was up at 157lbs to start the season.
  23. If you take Top ~30, then they both actually have six (6) QW. QW is dictated by earning your conference an allocation (which is typically Top 27-29, I think?). It makes no difference if it is #5 or #25 for that. Both might get maybe two (2) at conferences, but keep in mind that QW only counts once per wrestler. So, were Parco to defeat Lovett again, he doesn't earn a 'new' QW. That could be a wash, or Johnson could also win that one outright.
