    The NCAA said no to two championships, so it is the tournament or a change away from the tournament towards a dual champion.

    By getting down to 8 teams Golf is a defacto duals championship. The tournament simply determines qualification for the dual championship.

    Both Iowa and Penn St can make 200k without yearly wrestling Oklahoma State in front of an Oklahoma fan base for a "duals" title. That is what would come of this. What coach would agree to an away- away-infinity away schedule for anything that the opposition would promote? You'd need to be dumb.

    The "idea" of what most fans think a National Duals Tournament is and what the Paycom Duals is are two very different things. Paycom wants teams to come to Oklahoma where the event would/will become synonymous with Oklahoma State. I can't see Cael doing that and I can't see Brands doing it either.

    Pretty sure Penn State could hold a dual at Bryce Jordan and raise more than $200K. Cael wouldn't be turning down the money that way.

    Probably, but still I would guess you'd take Oklahoma State and 22 points vs Iowa in a tournament. But maybe not.

    I see that both Intermat and Flo have Iowa 22 points better than Oklahoma State in the race for 2nd place. Seems high to me and that this gap should start to narrow. Thoughts?

    I like how the called runs for Leonard are simple No read hand offs, just him looking for daylight between the tackles.

    I won't call a natty for Lilledahl just yet either, but he controlled an experienced wrestler who is likely bigger and stronger than he is . Lilledahl's feet never seem to stop moving. He has something that should not be underestimated.

    Davis needs a better understanding of what a Jonesy Tilt feels like, because Van Dee was trying to get him on it the whole time. Finally hit it from standing but Davis didn't seem to recognize it at all.

    That win over Lee in h.s. was something no other h.s. wrestler was able to accomplish, so pretty good. Again, not saying he got worse just that its hard to laud "improvement" based on coaches "developing" his talents when he went from consistently beating a guy to consistently losing to that same guy in exactly the same manner each and every time. Just where was the development from his coaches there?

    ?? He beat Soencer Lee in h.s. and beat Roman Bravo Young a couple few times at Iowa before then losing 6 straight vs that same wrestler. He went from having a move RBY could not stop to then being completely unable to finish his shot on him. I don't think he got worse as a wrestler, but his relative results to RBY sure got worse.
