  1. I actually don’t think a person’s credentials should matter as much as the information they’re sharing. But it’s hypocritical for you to say someone that’s not a pharmacologist shouldn’t “argue about a drug” and then have no issue with Riley Gaines profiting off of suggesting that ivermectin cures. If you don’t see that I can’t help you.
  2. Did AJ earn an allocation? If he finishes 3rd is there a chance he doesn’t qualify?
  3. Reverse example: Bradley Hill - 17-8 at heavyweight last year, 7-10 so far this year at 197
  4. Sorry, it’s kinda funny to me that in one breath you’re talking about Spencer Lee as if he’s a god. And in the next you’re talking about how the guy that beat him being the current favorite is a factor in 125 being “the weakest it’s ever been”
  5. Thank you for agreeing that Riley Gaines shouldn’t be shilling it with a promo code
  6. I agree. Lilledahl’s “dominance” is not comparable to Spencer. I was just calling out @Caveira’s cherry-picking. But overall I don’t see an issue with comparing Spencer and Lilledahl
  7. I didn’t make the utterly dominant comment, I believe the person that did was referring to Lilledahl in HS. I was just pointing out that you were cherry picking results and left out his most “dominant” win over a ranked opponent. Wrestlestat is ratings not rankings btw, Cruz is currently #23 on Flo and just beat #10. I wouldn’t say the pin was a “fluke,” but I’d pick Lilledahl in 9 out of 10 matches against McCrone.
  8. You left out the 22-6 tech fall over the guy who has a win over the guy that pinned him, and might be ranked in the top 10 next week
  9. I assume he will likely be penalized in ACC seedings?
  10. Maybe I missed it but what was his “injury”?
  11. “Comparison” doesn’t mean exactly the same. No, not as “dominant,” but he’s a 125 pounder that wrestled in PA and was a world champ with a chance to be a 3-4x’er. That’s “comparable” to me, but everyone is welcome to their opinion
  12. He didn’t really have that slow of a start though. The dual loss to Meyer occurred after he beat 2 prior AA’s at the Southern Scuffle while in redshirt
  13. “Expecting” and “comparing” are 2 different things IMO Bo Bassett is often compared to Spencer Lee too but I don’t think many people are “expecting” 3+ titles
  14. Wasn’t Lilledahl also a world champ or at least silver? He still has a chance to win NCAA’s this year (along with like 10 other guys), which would put him with potential to get 4 titles and thus I don’t see the problem with comparing him to Spencer Lee.
  15. Sure it has some similarities, but it’s a different move. Probably the biggest difference being the pulling the ankle all the way back like that - which is primarily what raised more of my questions around it being potentially dangerous
  16. Looking at wrestlestat, I gotta agree. Northern Colorado had most of their starters at both the Cougar Clash (won by Vombaur) and Southern Scuffle and Alirez went to neither. He also sat out the UNI dual (Happel) among others.
  17. First of all, kudos for actually posting a specific study, and not a link to “c19ivm.org.” Unfortunately however, like nearly all of the studies on that often-shared site, this one isn’t very good. It’s an observational study, not randomized, and didn’t really have “88,012 subjects.” When they trimmed the numbers down (probably to get rid of results they didn’t like), they were only left with 283 “regular users” of ivermectin. It also wasn’t randomized, and the results can be explained by things other than the treatments: https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2023.08.10.23293924v1 Oh and the authors were funded by an ivermectin manufacturer…
  18. It wasn’t a spladle. I believe Rock Harrison even called that out on the broadcast
  19. How can you say this impacts their first “year” but then bring up Mark Hall who won NCAA’s as a true freshman?
  20. I’m not sure who wrote the paragraph but the Starocci quotes were from him being interviewed
  21. I searched “Suloev Stretch” on x and all the results are guys trying to use it as a submission in MMA fights. Is this legal? Should it have been stopped sooner for PD? If not, should he have gotten NF swipes? I could see the argument for no NF, although I’m shocked the Stanford coaching staff didn’t argue harder for them.
  22. They need a lawyer? @VakAttack? Or maybe that guy from BWI that posted the YouTube videos of the Willie trials?
  23. Pretty sure there isn’t much effort being made because there doesn’t seem like much can be done, and that the decision wasn’t really related to wrestling
