  1. Coleman Scott to Hofstra? Minnow saying OK State interviewed Cunningham as well
  2. Yup, kinda even if he does get the job…. So I think answer to the question of it being a bad sign for Coleman that he hadn’t been named yet was proven to be yes…
  3. Good prediction!
  4. Is Barr at 184 better than Cochran at 197? Sounds kinda like Starocci is ducking Keckeisen.
  5. He was (maybe is) a good wrestler, but people nitpicked his style even before most people realized he was crazy. For as entertaining as he can be off the mat, he’s incredibly boring on it.
  6. Well they have 1 for sure (Caliendo), and seems like a high likelihood that they get at least one more, probably more than that. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. As of now PSU is already projected to start 3 transfers and Michigan 2, with Michigan in particular likely looking for more
  7. Askren said on his last FRL that he also wants to coach more senior level athletes. Then there was a (mostly?) sarcastic discussion about Flo starting an RTC…
  8. So hypothetically, if Esposito left on his own, would Coleman Scott have been informed of this plan if it wasn’t for him to take over?
  9. I don’t think he’d necessarily be a “marquee guy” based on his NCAA results, he has 2 wins in his career over past AA’s. But after seeing him beat Haines at the trials, I’m on board with that statement.
  10. Was it his choice to leave?
  11. Are you referring to last year? It’s not like Pop was going to take the Associate HC job.
  12. This is the only video I could find of him from BEG. The guy talking https://www.facebook.com/story.php?id=100052000961845&story_fbid=956181302791893
  13. I’m not 100% sure, which is why I didn’t name him initially until asked and clarified that is my guess. I noted the deleted x/twitter account earlier (I assume by “bad sign” you mean good sign it’s him?). But I’d say I’m about 90% sure. You can see that x/twitter account posted at least as recently as January based on replies to it, and likely still existed on March 3rd when it was tagged by “NLWC fan.” But the best evidence IMO is that when I looked closer at the video I thought he looked kinda like the guy that had appeared in the BEG podcast, who I know was a PSU homer and FS fan (I believe he reported for them from Worlds in Serbia for example). But when I went to check the old videos all the ones with him in it have been deleted, despite what looks like most or all of the rest of their old videos still being posted.
  14. Yup. I love that these guys are making this much, but let’s be honest, no individual college wrestler is bringing in more than like $200k in revenue and that’s probably being generous (except for maybe Cayden Henschel). It’s funny since people likely thought NIL would be the end of the non-revenue sports being supported by the revenue sports, but it may have just made it worse. And for wrestling teams in the B10, I don’t think that will really change even if they split from the NCAA for football.
  15. ScrapLife doesn’t seem to have an issue with guys making dumb tweets, has he ever been sponsored by them?
  16. Yeah, interestingly the first search result that comes up shows him as being part of a winning foursome at the 2022 NWLC golf tournament, along with Jeff Byers and a popular BWI poster who was kind enough to post the entirety of the #WillieTrials to YouTube
  17. Is he a grad transfer?
  18. Sounds like Pyle on FRL is thinking along the same lines as me (not Pop specifically, but the fact that Scott hasn’t been officially named may mean they continue to explore other options).
  19. No, but maybe Pop isn’t out of the question?
  20. Well look at last year with Scott’s replacement at state school UNC, only took them 2 weeks. But I know that was closer to the start of the season.
  21. Is Glazier coming back?
  22. Did they practice on ASU’s campus?
