    Although… Coaches rank has Courtney tied for 7, so keeping Lee at 1 keeps him on the opposite side. There’s probably a decent chance Courtney ends up at 6 or 7. He likely isn’t passing Lee, Barnett (lost H2H), Glory or Cardinale. 1 or 2 other B10 guys probably stay ahead of him, but he could jump the rest. Probably thinking way too much into this lol…

    I saw that. And Zeke had a vote for 125 too… Which is another a stupid thing about this process…each conference gets 2 votes for every weight, regardless of the size of the conference. So Zeke gets 4 votes but Cael only gets 2.

    It was brought up on FRL that RBY, Yianni and Kerk were not included in the first coaches rankings due to not enough matches so people (Zeke Jones it seems) may have just copied those ones exactly. Which I guess is possible

    Yeah I think you solved the mystery. I was going to say how would his guy benefit, but all 3 of McGee, Parco and Schultz are currently at either 4 or 5 so the clear #1 has in theory dropped to the opposite side of the bracket (at least at 133 and 149, forgot Kerk lost). But still seems stupid though, surely the other criteria would push RBY in particular back to the #1 actual seed right?

    Rankings are not predictions. I guess wrestlestat might consider theirs kinda to be? Does the higher rated wrestler always win in their scenarios? I think a main problem with wrestlestat’s algorithm is that they put too much emphasis on results from several years ago. I believe this explains Fix over RBY, and it probably also explains Parris at pre-season #1

    125 is the least of the problems with Wrestlestat’s algorithm. If Daton Fix can still be #1, then something with the algorithm needs to be changed
