To me that was the most egregious action of the cop, and IMO shows his behavior is likely a pattern (as does the recent report of the number of times he’s been suspended).

$500k doesn’t make sense but with the number of people that have reported that number including trustworthy ones like Willie, I believe it. Thinking back to Alirez, wasn’t it rumored that both Iowa AND OSU offered $500k? I know there have been comments about why it always seems like Iowa’s offers are the only ones that get leaked, but in that case it wasn’t. And as you mention it certainly seems like Starocci has some money to throw around, which I do think is evidence there could be truth to these numbers.

Really excited for this. Comes out in December. Seems like it challenges Foxcatcher for the biggest names in a wrestling movie. Robles is played by Jharell Jerome. He’s been in a lot of stuff, my favorite being Mr. Mercedes. J. Lo plays his mom, Bobby Canavale (who was also in Win/Win) plays his stepdad, Michael Pena his high school coach, and Don Cheadle plays then-ASU coach Shawn Charles.

I know Carter will get hate for this but I think it’s awesome. It also validates that he’s likely getting $1 million+ IMO if he’s willing to put up $300k.

This. The article is clearly referring to the podcast, which only referred to recently. So no issue with that. If they tried to get Keckeisen however, yes that would be Iowa-level.

There are a lot of unknowns about the financials of Glazier. Maybe he was getting nothing from Iowa so it wasn’t a hard decision to leave. Maybe he was at least getting free rent from Nicolls so he didn’t have to worry about the lease breaking scenario. Maybe he got a good offer from SDSU to offset some, all or more than he was losing at Iowa.

How many are left? UNC is mildly surprising given there was surely some connection with Koll recruiting the Gibsons

I'm not sure if it's "what's best," but yeah, I would say that this is pretty much true for any school since the creation of the transfer portal. Again, I acknowledge that what Iowa did this offseason is "worse," but I don't think it has anything to do with Glazier, and moreso the fact that they are now poaching guys that aren't even in the portal.

Well in relation to the more recent discussion being had, we don’t know if the Brands even had any involvement in bringing Buchanan in. And also in relation to the more recent discussion, you can almost compare this to the OSU coaching situation IMO. All signs pointed to them hiring Coleman Scott, a pretty successful head coach and extremely successful wrestler and alumnus of the school. But a booster said “nah let’s do better.”
