  1. I've read and wonder if he is going 197 next season. Of course, that creates another log jam with Merrill.
  2. haha...not sure how I missed that.... okay now it makes more sense!
  3. Hmmm.... interesting with Jax and Vega coming in at the same weights as the Raneys. Unless McNeil goes to 141 I am not sure it makes sense with Swiderski and Jamison at 149 already.
  4. If 87 is your birth date then no …if 87 is your graduation date then no way should you even try without health insurance.
  5. I'm more saddened that his birth year is 14 years after I graduated from high school
  6. I see Michael Gioffre joined his brother Jack in the portal. Might be a good option for a mid-tier team looking to fill two holes. I imagine they are a package deal.
  7. Yep - that's an NFHS rule - 1 hour max before duals and 2 hour max before tourney. Weigh-ins every day of a tourney with a 1 lb allowance multiple day tournaments. Weight management and weigh in regulations have come a long way over the years. "Back in my day" we could cut up until my weight class got on the scale, we had a sauna in our locker room, there was no certification... and there were many times I paid for that. https://cdn1.sportngin.com/attachments/document/239f-3089848/NFHS-WR-Rulebook.pdf Idaho HS weight management: https://idhsaa.org/asset/WRESTLING/Wrestling 24-25.pdf No matter what rules you have, there will always be kids who will cut a lot of weight and coaches who will probably be ok with that. If they end up wrestling in college hopefully they figure out that the way they cut weight will directly affect their performance and outcomes. I know at Oregon State they do a pretty good job of focusing on nutrition and healthy weight management because they know it affects performance. It's actually a part of their budget to provide this to the wrestlers.
  8. I am the pre-pre headliner.
  9. Yep... . 16 varsity sports programs, 300+ student-athletes, 90 employees on an $18 million operational budget.... raise 4kish on giving day...God bless Stephen Neal.
  10. See Minnow for why this is wise.
  11. I believe that is for the athletic department - I am trying to find out how much Wrestling actually raised.
  12. Before sentencing, Lee's father said that his son is not a bad person. "Elijah loves people. Everybody knows Elijah and he's not a bad person. I know a lot of parents go forth and say that about their kids," the father said. "I really don't feel he should go to prison." Hmmmm....
  13. He might be able to get free Champaigne..... Thank you Thank you... I will be back at 7:30 for my second show.
  14. Yeah - It was a little confusing to what those numbers represented - but I believe you are correct. I will try to find out how much Wrestling earned and post it in here.
  15. Being Reported -Maxx Mayfield to MIzzou
  16. Nebraska has to be busy doing some portal work or some pre-portal work or just poaching.
  17. Yep - my bad - he had some good wins... Paniro, Drexler, Lamer and a few others.
  18. At the very least babysitting back pay.
  19. Jack Gioffre - 141 NQ in the portal now... possibly his brother as well.
  20. Pretty good haul for a one day fundraiser for the program. There are a lot of wrestlers getting much more in NIL than what Bake raised today. Let's keep the little guys afloat. I encourage all of you who are alumni or fans of the small and mid tier programs to put your fundraisers out here on the board to help keep them in the mix.
  21. $167,330 raised 1,113 gifts
