When a wrestler takes a redshirt is a factor. Gable’s losses were as a true freshman having not taken a redshirt. Nolf and Nickal had redshirt true freshman losses that are not part of this data. -
It is … which further questions why you would hide a guy at an RTC to maybe have a workout partner that is training for Greco or freestyle.

He’s been wrestling in two tournaments he has been to at 184. I am guessing he lost the wrestle off.

Yep... 1 AA for sure in Figs (if healthy)...Ruiz and Larkin (if he shows) could also AA. Chlebove, Vasquez will score some points. Depending, I think 7-12 is reasonable and the ceiling...their basement could be deep with all the question marks.

Nobody knows yet how this will be enforced. It will be interesting to see how this plays out in regards to the RTC. The last thing you want is liability for guys practicing with the team who are not rostered members. The best bet for those guys would be to move to a smaller division and see if they can transfer and get a rostered spot after a year. it will also be interesting to see how this impacts all levels of wrestling.

Most schools with large rosters have already started trimming. Oregon State was the largest at 43, is now down to 36. With the number going out and the number coming in next year they will have a little room to add a transfer if needed. Very doubtful coaches will try to hide a 4th string guy at the RTC. There are a lot of guys on D1 rosters who will never get close to staring that could and should go to D2 or NAIA and start. Time for some kids and parents to get a little more realistic about post HS wrestling.

Lost their top recruit coming in as well... Ludington NJ. For a program that has recent team trophies, it sure is sinking fast.

Ech gave him that match...not very often do you see a match where the winner gets taken down and scores no offensive points.

Can you tell us which guys are afraid and won't wrestle everyone in the room?

Do the points of the guy who takes their place count against them? For example if Teemer wins the title, but let's say Larkin finishes 7th - Do we subtract the points from Teemer earned by Larking? Some of the teams who lost a guy had someone waiting or transferred someone in to take their place.

Last winter Minnow posted the tragic injury to Travis Witlake without talking to family or anyone else about it. It was literally before anyone knew anything because someone let him know. Coaches got in his ear real quick and he took it down.

I don't disagree that Hughes could be beating Jamison....but being undefeated in high school isn't really the best argument.

wOSU started doing this last season. I really like the music instead of the silence with the random drunk guy yelling. I think a few other schools are doing this as well.

He struggled big time at Illinois - 5-19 across two seasons. He has had a resurgence at OSU. On another note, had no idea you were at the match. Were you just there to catch OSUe?
