  1. Ha! I couldn't quite pull of what Mitch Clark or Cael did. Wrestled him at CKLV and the NCAA tournament in 2000.
  2. Had the pleasure of wrestling Vertus a few times in college.
  3. Brian Shute, Hoover HS 1985. Pretty fitting wrestling name.
  4. What are some of the best names out there in the wrestling world? Example: Andrew McFall of Minnesota State a few years back. Arizona State/Penn State might have had Bubba Jenkins, but Southern Oregon has Bubbles Jenkins! https://souraiders.com/sports/wrestling/roster/bubbles-jenkins/7248
  5. The hard part is that Legend wrestled 165 and Brawley 174 last year
  6. I like your Boone McDermott prediction!!! Let's make it happen.
  7. You could also possibly put Drew Roberts (Minnesota) in there at 157. Drew grew up wrestling with all the Crescent Valley kids, and even won his first state title in HS at Crescent Valley before the family moved to Eastern Washington/N. Idaho.
  8. Yusief Lillie is a Washington kid
  9. Yeah, that is true. Crescent Valley HS in Corvallis, OR could honestly field a decent lineup by themselves in the next year or so. 125: 133: Gabe Whisenhunt (Oregon State) 141: Hunter Eveland (Oregon State) or DJ Gillett (Oregon St commit) 149: Chance Lamer (Michigan/Cal Poly) 157: 165: Brawley Lamer (Cal Poly) 174: James Rowley (Wisconsin/Purdue) or Dash Lamer (Cal Poly) or Legend Lamer (Cal Poly), Jackson Rosado (was at Campbell, but may be done wrestling now) 184: Santos Cantu (Indiana) or someone bumps from 174 197/285: Hayden Walters (Michigan commit) 197/285: Hayden Walters (Michigan commit)
  10. Oregon - We've got some forfeits 125: 133: Jason Shaner (Oregon St) 141: 149: Chance Lamer (Michigan) 157: 165: Legend Lamer (Cal Poly) 174: Brawley Lamer (Cal Poly) *James Rowley (Wisconsin/Purdue) with consideration here? 184: Travis Wittlake (Oklahoma St) 197: Tanner Harvey (Oregon St) 285:
  11. Would Arizona/Valiant Prep be an answer to your question?
  12. So Bormet wasn't actually Bormet?
  13. Greg was actually on the FRL podcast monday of this week. Worth a listen. Never knew that he beat Bormet in college.
  14. I can't stop looking at Brands legs... They don't see to fit his body.
  15. You'd have to think Cal Poly is on the short list considering his brothers being there. Personally I would love to see him come home and put on an Oregon State singlet. Would be great to get him and Rowley both back to Oregon next year.
  16. Lou Rosselli
  17. The Footprint Center seats over 18k
  18. Jose Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in Puerto Rico. Seats around 18,000.
  19. It would be nice to see it somewhere new and fresh. I'd love to see it in the Carolinas/Atlanta/Vegas/Phoenix. The tourney does run into spring break. It would be nice to be at a location or area that you could stick around after the tourney and stay for the week for spring break.
  20. Eishens could also be a nice pickup for someone.
  21. Ah Gibby Haynes! That name takes me back. Loved cranking Independent Worm Saloon in the wrestling room during practice, I'm flying away!
  22. Also has former HS teammates at Oregon State - Whisenhunt/Eveland. DJ Gillet has also signed. Tons of friends from the state of Oregon on the team. Close to family and his club coach Jason Lara. Let's go Beavs!!! Fingers crossed.
  23. Was it Mineo who was saying there would be a big announcement at noon? It looks like that tweet has been deleted from his profile if so....
  24. Josh Hokit Fresno State. All American wrestler and went on to the 49ers for a short stint as an undrafted free agent/practice squad guy.
