  1. I believe that Oregon has 4 qualifiers, not 5. Travis Wittlake, Chance Lamer, Jason Shaner, and Tanner Harvey. It also looks like you have the Pac-12 labeled as the Pac-10.
  2. Pendleton has the Beavs peaking at the right time. Oregon State is going to do it. Looking forward to Olmos beating Plott again in round 2!
  3. Tongue in cheek. Referencing this recent post.
  4. Looks like there will be a couple of repeats of the Pac-12 finals in the second round? Hope I am wrong 125: Kaylor v. Courtney in round 2 165: Olguin v. Griffith in round 2 Brutal
  5. Doubtful. Pac-12 got hammered in the seeds.
  6. Maybe coaching harnesses? Each coach is required to wear one and they are attached to a solid object that is (fill in the blank) distance from the mat? After the match the coach unhooks their harness, holds the strap, and walks around the tournament with it on until their next wrestler is up. Repeat....
  7. I don't know the details. I can't imagine that you could fit more mats into an arena this way could you? Va Tech also has one I believe.
  8. Will the Cohlton Schultz from the 2022 NCAA tournament make an appearance?
  9. 184-Trey Munoz 197-Cam Caffey 133-Mickey Phillippi 141-Andrew Alirez
  10. Opinions on the octo-mats?
  11. Maybe the Pac 12 is just tougher than the Big 10?
  12. Good info, thanks for compiling. Beavs with only 3 matches in that first round...
  13. I like the looks of this. Beavs in the finals at 7 of the 10 weights. Fingers crossed.
  14. I would also love to see him wrestle 1 more year but would totally understand if he is done. The amount of unique and difficult things he has had to deal with can be taxing. Covid, the cutting then reinstatement of the program, and coaching change to name a few.
  15. I'm all in on this!
  16. Pretty harsh. No response in 16 minutes of posting so you go apocalyptic. I don't even think that is a question a fan could actually even answer.
  17. Yeah, tough road at some of those weights. 149 has one qualifier and has Parco, Abas, and Demas in the bracket. Sorry, I just saw that Gus posted this above....
  18. Thank you @Fadzaev2. Portland State does indeed have a storied history. The move up from DII to DI and the Pac-10 was tough. The school never funded and fully backed the program in that move, it was a difficult task to be competitive as a team. However the school did qualify wrestlers to the D1 tourney and had some Pac 10 finalists in the late 90's/early 2000's.
  19. Anyone in the know please correct me if I am wrong. I do believe Bakersfield has some restrictions placed on their program that make things difficult. For example I believe that a percentage of their roster must be from California, possibly even the Bakersfield area. Bakersfield has a storied past, I hope they can get things moving in the right direction.
  20. Was looking more at underrated, not busted. I know that Cael is in here, but there is some great depth overall. Multiple Olympians, and a world silver medalist.
  21. 2000 184: Cael Sanderson, Brandon Eggum, Daniel Cormier, Andy Hrovat, Rob Rohn, Vertus Jones, Doug Lee, Cash Edwards. 2001 184: Cael Sanderson, Damion Hahn, Daniel Cormier, Rob Rohn, Josh Lambrecht, Andy Hrovat, Doug Lee, Cash Edwards, Viktor Sveda,.
  22. I don't know. Several of those wrestling positions in that match that I might have originally thought would have favored KOT were solidly owned by Carr. Carr looked stronger and better. Looking forward to the rematch and adjustments by both of them.
  23. Anyone here have over 100?
  24. Never thought that when I opened this thread it would start with a post about Western! I would love to see Western revive it's program, but here in Oregon I would much prefer the Ducks get their program up and running again. Portland State would be another one. The west needs D1 programs!
