  1. 125 Lee 133 RBY 141 Real Woods 149 Yianni 157 O'Connor 165 KOT 174 Starocci 184 Brooks 197 Sloan 285 Parris
  2. 165 has KOT, Carr, Hamiti as pretty sure fire AA's. Griffith is a very likely AA based on his past NCAA success. That leaves 4 podium spots for Monday, Kennedy, Amine, Caliendo, Ramirez, Peyton Hall, Kharchla, Olguin, Facundo, etc....
  3. I think Brooks might beat Nino at his current weight.
  4. Carter split with Mosha this year & lost to Carlson (5th seed) in the dual against SDSU. Carter may have taken third if healthy but that is far from a certainty.
  5. Max Murin, Tanner Sloan, Wyatt Hendrickson (great American Hero), Kellyn March, Josh Humphreys, Bailey O'Reilly, Cade Devos, Abe Assad
  6. It is funny, light hearted exchange between two guys that have a great deal of respect for each other. In SD, it is a head lever and a Gizoni FWIW.
  7. Wyoming Mat is great
  8. Nino #1, Sloan #2 ?
  9. Tanner Cook pinned Baylor Fernandes in the consolations at Big 12’s to punch his ticket and keep Baylor out of the NCAA field. Sweet revenge!
  10. Was it when Iowa beat Nebraska 34-6 in a dual this year that you decided Nebraska was way better than Iowa? Or is it the fact that Iowa is beating Nebraska at this very tournament? Could it possibly have been at NCAA’s every year when Nebraska watches Iowa collect a team trophy?
  11. Let’s go Sloan!
  12. I am not sure of his certification but he did wrestle 141 earlier this year. With the descent rules in place there would be no time for him to make 125 unless he was making 125 scratch when he was wrestling at 133.
  13. Big 12 Brackets attached. Notable first round matchups: 125: Corey Cabanban vs Stevo Poulin 125: Eli Griffin vs Reece Witcraft 141: Clay Carlson vs Casey Swiderski 165: Baylor Fernandes vs Austin Yant 2023_Big_12_Wrestling_Championship_Brackets.pdf
  14. I don't see them qualifying 174. Big 12 only has 6 allocations for: 1) Peyton Mocco, MIZZOU 2) Dustin Plott, OSU 3) Sam Wolf, AFA 4) Demetrius Romero, UVU 5) Tate Picklo, OU 6) Cade Devos, SDSU 7) Lance Runyon, UNI Scott Joll, WVU Gaven Sax, NDSU Andrew Berreyesa, UNCO Julien Broderson, ISU Hayden Hastings, WYO Louis Rojas, CBU
  15. Lee chose bottom against Barnett and reversed and pinned him this year. That should serve as an interesting preview for how his match with Glory will go.
  16. I like Devos’s spot as the 6 seed in the bracket. He can beat Sam Wolf and will end up with a rematch against Plott whom he beat 9-5 last time they wrestled.
  17. Assuming you are talking about Paniro Johnson in your 141 assessment? He is at 149 this year. Maybe a guy like Ryan Jack or Allan Hart would fit
  18. Stanford's #11 ranked wrestler at 149 would have been Jaden Abas. It appears that he did not wrestle in the dual and Arroyo filled in. Very nice win for Olguin though.
  19. The Kennedy match against Hamiti was very tight last time. I think that the top 4 or 5 in big tens at this weight are just very close and it is a coin flip match every time.
  20. @jajensen09 austin emerson listed at HWT for the Huskers.
  21. Okay, so Millner has 115 wins against D1 competition and Parris has 112.
  22. I think its Mason Parris with 118.
  23. I believe that Sheets will be seeded above Tanner Cook based on his recent win over Cook. I also think that Sloan will get the #1 seed at 197 due to being undefeated in conference with wins over Surber (beat Elam) and Pentz.
  24. Jacob Warner pins Max Dean with a bow n arrow to win his first ncaa title.
  25. Okay, if we go back a couple more years to 2018 it was 45 for Big 12. The Big 12 has been adding more affiliate teams over the years so the allotment keeps changing
