  1. [I posted this in another thread earlier, but that dull thread will likely be short-lived. Thought I'd bring it to a new thread.] IMO, the DOdGEy group should go after the crypto. Talk about a lack of "Efficiency." The some 17 billion the federal government has acquired in bitcoin from bad guys should be sold to pay down the US deficit. (Which is 100% the point of the group, at least that's what we're being told.) There is zero reason to hold ~$17 billion in volatile digital currency if we can put it to good use now. Imagine how many federal employees that would need to be fired to make that much of a dent in the deficit! This isn't political point as much as it is a simple financial one. Holding ~$17 billion in volatile funds while making giant payments on trillions of debt with interest makes no fiscal sense. Unless, of course, the idea is to hold the bitcoin and from time to time make moves purposely to drive the bitcoin value up (which Musk has done before, and Trump just did recently) thereby using the bitcoin as an investment instrument to grow it to pay off even more of the debt at some future date. That does sound like a Musk strategy...
  2. It's a big forum, if you aren't interested in a particular thread discussion - it's easy, find another one. We all are here to express our opinions. If you can't deal with some opinions, again, go somewhere else. You can waste your breath shouting at the clouds, but folks here will always hold differing opinions. It's not a syndrome. It's reality. Get over it.

  4. No surprise, Trump is nothing more than a blowhard. He doesn't understand a single thing he's doing. All of his so-called "policies" are given to him to read. Remember when he signed the Executive Orders after the inauguration? Someone else had to explain what each was, because he had no idea. The oldest President ever elected. Older than Biden. His brain is mush. It's no wonder his entire family ditched him. Leaving their lucrative White House positions and running. President Musk is taking us in the wrong direction, while President "Mush" still doesn't get who pays tariffs.
  5. During hiccups. And, Bigly, before tremendous bounces. Sometimes on bing bong, stock go zoom, everyone wins. Make no mistake - I know my stock stuff.
  6. Deserved or not, I'll accept that one. It's fair enough. The only problem I have with DOGE vs GIT (Government Insider Trading) is that I doubt we'll ever see it happen. The GIT is supported by giant sacks of money, and the powerful swampers behind them (the one's who basically buy presidential elections.) DOGE loses to the GIT every time.
  7. You post like a fool. D's and R's alike, all are against disrespect to the US President. The entire country is, 100%. You (and those that hire you) can't take advantage of something that doesn't exist. Run along child, find another playground.
  8. AJ saying he doesn't have the best teammates, combined with Angelo recently saying he has the best teammates in the world and they are the reason for his success. It looks to be a connecting-the-dots type puzzle. A super easy one to solve.
  9. Some walls work well, some don't work well at all. All walls are not equal. One like Egypt-Gaza border is easy. Less than 8 miles, easy to patrol and electronically monitor. (Note that the wall doesn't really work without patrol and monitoring. It's got to be a package deal for success)
  10. Now that would be something useful for the DOGE crew to be tasked with. If they are looking for fraud, there it is... and it's been going on for a looong time, regardless of party affiliation.
  11. I was lucky enough to get to know them both a tiny bit here. One went voluntarily, the other one not-so-much. They showed no remorse for calling out what was right and what wasn't. Each in their own, very different, way. Both outstanding posters. Two of the best.
  12. You nailed it. Two offensive guys getting after it. This should play out to be a giant 'W' for wrestling fans. Starocci clearly has the edge based on credentials/experience. That'd be the smart bet. The undefeated freshman is fun to watch, too. Hard to root against him. IMO, the smartest bet is to not overthink it. Sit back and enjoy this one like a movie you haven't seen the trailer for.
  13. Scouts Honor is easily and obviously the worst - mostly because the posts are AI generated. Read the last few and you'll get it. AI isn't really all that good... yet. What comes next is just that much worse.
  14. Blah.. blah.. blah.. not a 'whataboutism' Try again, shyte for brains.
  15. 2014 - read about the criminal Russians stealing Crimea from Ukraine. Russian military are pathetic, godless and less than animals.
  16. Yes, they absolutely are being silenced. Yes, the "Richardson waiver" did allow for people to have their voices heard... Until now. That same "Richardson waiver" was killed by RFK. No more public voices - they have been silenced.
  17. Someone put a quarter in this pro-russian clown and he's been babbling ever since. Seems a quarter goes quite a long way for russian propoganda idiots.
  18. The reason I don't follow Xwitter is because it is full of garbage. Quoting Xwitter here doesn't make you look smarter, it just makes you look like a nitwit that believes Xwitter garbage. Maybe think hard and come up with an idea of your very own, if you can do that. And post that instead.
  19. Wasn't long ago that the US Presidents were respected leaders and statesmen. Now we have one that acts like a rich little spoiled and clueless sorority girl. Yesterday, making fun of the clothes another President is wearing. Just about as pathetic as can be imagined. (When the Saudi's visit next, does anyone think they'll be wearing suits? Or that they'll be made fun of?)
  20. Maybe. But I think maybe not. Consider a gang of thieves: With a small gang, a few could influence and kill off others in order to keep the loot for themselves. As the gang gets larger, that same plan starts to become impossible. Too many people, too many eyes. If we haven't learned that the government is a gang of thieves yet, we haven't learned a thing.
  21. Sounds like we should all be getting married to Sunday, March 16. I've got Sunday service obligations until 1pm CST, or just a bit before. Anytime 1pm or after is fine for me. Let's zero in on it.
  22. Oversight. Doesn't mean any of us trust them, but oversight is an absolute 100% minimum to qualify for any trust at all. It costs more, but it's well worth it. If there is no oversight - there should be no trust. When money is involved, people tend to be wicked that way.
