And 4 is enough. But to be fair, it is difficult for those that can't grasp basic Calculus.

1st semester Calculus. Didn't seem all that difficult.

What do woke {left} wingers think about Ron Paul
RockLobster replied to Caveira's topic in Non Wrestling Topics
The interesting thing is that I did... the reference to "woke {left} wingers" left me more than a little confused. Who the heck is that supposed to be? Maybe the same group you keep foggily referring to as "they"? C'mon man. Tighten it up. You just lazy. (But good on you for finding 'modicum' in your word-of-the-day calendar, props for that.) -
In 2024. The ~49% vs ~48% election? The one where politicians are telling us voters have "overwhelmingly" chosen - when in fact, it was only a tiny margin. Sure, that's easy to explain. Most of the country isn't on the far right or far left (contrary to what politicians tell us.) During the elections, most don't love or even like either candidate. Most are picking between "the lesser of two evils." So most vote the party they prefer (which makes sense), others pick a specific topic (abortion, gun control, etc.) and others just hold their nose and try to do their best. Quite a few stay home, feeling it is pointless. So some R's voted for Trump who don't like him, some D's voted for Biden who don't like him, etc. When the votes are tallied - what you will get is a the popular vote results. What you won't get is the view of the people as to who they find favorable and who they don't. You're not wrong. It is mind boggling. But it is what it is.

Trump tasks are all literally "crazy" - Panama, Greenland, Gaza, Gulf 'O America, etc. All nuts. Yet the old guy seems to enjoy them... the oldest President in the history of the US. Remember when people criticized Biden about being too old to be President? Trump is now even older. And it shows. He's just too old. Musk, who is an immigrant, gets tasks like reorganizing the entire federal government. Eliminating entire departments and firing any that were critical of his companies that made him rich. He was neither elected nor appointed. He's an African billionaire who bought his way in with donations. He's got a large team of hacker delinquents behind him. They are collecting private data (yes, yours and mine) at every corner for use in his personal businesses. That data is digital gold for him. Musk is unelected, not from the US, has no political post, yet he's calling all the shots on changing our government with little opposition and much of what he is doing is in direct conflict with the Constitution. He may not be President Musk but he is, no doubt, acting-President Musk. Where's JD Vance? Before your eyes, Musk has just bought his way past the VP and past the President himself and is redesigning the US Government. And not a single person elected him.

So, you're admitting that Americans currently have an UNFAVORABLE opinion of Donald Trump? Good on you. And that the current status is higher than he's been at anytime since elected in 2016. In other words, as the President - TRUMP HAS NEVER BEEN FAVORABLE. Trump is old and on his last legs. Much of what he says is logically incoherent. A stream of drivel from an old man. (Gulf of America? Seriously? Buy and rename Greenland to Red, White, and Blue Land? Seriously? Riviera in Gaza? Seriously? Trump appears to have been put on backseat, yell-at-the-sky duty while Musk does actual President things.) Now that Musk is the acting President, it'll be interesting to see. Yes, Musk is an African migrant, but let's Make Africa Great Again while we're at it. Why not. He's rich and backseat Trump has given Musk a free pass to make the US Govt his playground.

I don't know who the "they" are that you're referring to here. You should make a serious effort to be more descriptive about who you're casting judgement on. R's are roughly half the US population and D's are roughly the other half. I don't believe you are enough of a simpleton to simply cast half the US as being "us" and the other half as being "they". But maybe you are. Correct me if I'm wrong. -
EXACTLY, Musk and Trump (in that order, with Musk taking the lead) are just making whiny noise about white South Africans. Neither has made a good argument as to why any of us should care. Just whiny noise. Now - if we repeat that logic - with the Panama Canal. It's just the same whiny noise. And next - with purchase of Greenland? Just more whiny noise. Canada as a US State? Even more whiny noise. Taking over Gaza and making it into luxury real estate? The whiniest of the whiny noises. At this point you should be asking yourself... "Is there a pattern here?" It's new. The US doesn't have a history of whiny leadership. That's a brand new thing with Musk and Trump. Maybe you like it, maybe you don't, YMMV.

Going on a tirade about mutilating minors? Sure, why not. Fight on that hill (that nobody is trying to take.) How about the Venezuelan gangs taking over US cities? Get on that hill and start fighting. Might as well. And the immigrants that are eating our dogs and pets? Fight on that hill, too. Wait - turns out there's nobody really there to fight on any of those hills? None of them. Don't worry. You'll have more hills to defend. Just keep an eye on xwitter and facebook, they'll keep producing more imaginary fights. That's how they make money. And follow Trump's constant stream of imaginary fights. That's how he stays in the news. The "real" fights that actually exist that aren't produced by social media are complex and not easy to take a side. For those, you might have to concede that both sides mean well and have good points and realize the only solution is for both to concede a little, take everything into consideration, and work through it the best they can - always with respect. Even then, decades later, those may still be unresolved. Yet the best we can do is to "carry on the good fight." You should stick to the imaginary fights - much simpler and easier. It suits you and most here better. Take a side and start bitching into the abyss.

Heard about the US taking over Gaza lately? And making it into the Middle East Riviera? It's a beyond stupid claim. How about taking over Greenland or the Panama Canal? Claims that are so incredibly dumb. And Canada? Eliminating the country and making it into a US State? Such a pile of dumb, but this may be top of heap. ... and you want to discuss what is "serious"? What is serious is Musk and his doge weapon that he is using to manipulate the govt in order to enrich himself and his agenda. What isn't serious are the fool's errands Trump has been sent on to occupy him in the meantime. Trump is in the backseat, Musk is driving. That much is open and obvious. Might as well call him President Musk.

That would seem to be a "housing" issue. Outside of the NCAA, there are certainly gay and trans students being housed with straight students. There are housing policies to deal with situation as well - it isn't new, or simple, but it's been around for decades. It's like the dullwitted maga learns about these things and think they started existing the moment they were informed.

Oh... on the contrary. Both these evil halfwits are as far right as is possible - white supremacy to the core. Neither should be in any kind of US Government leadership position. But this is where we find ourselves. (DOGE) is some kind of efficiency group? Nope - that's a smokescreen for firing anyone who might oppose them and instead replace them with mindless "loyalists" who will do their bidding without question. Not a prediction, that part is getting done. Now they're on to firing both middle management and rank and file and replacing them with more puppet loyalists. The swamp? That's the group behind the Project 2025 agenda that these wealthy, powerful, halfwits are following. Trump and Musk are only the faces of the movement. The P25 is steering this ship. If you don't believe me, that's probably a good thing. Look into it and find out for yourself.

That is one of the worst forum speeches I've ever had to endure. Truly terrible. Total nonsense. Who the he** is "they"? I've only sent a single message, and it should be 100% clear to you. Be "honest" about it. These kids are in a tough spot that they didn't choose to be in. Jesus H Christ, have a heart and open up your eyes. You anti-trans people are only hurting them. The rest is politics.
-
Except that's not always the case. Not all trans women have male parts. (Remember the assignment was done at birth, well before maturation.) You can be an idiot about it (which, I'm confident you will be), but the reality is bigger than that. It's a complex issue. If you don't want to engage in the entirety of the biology that this includes - then just step off. Don't be a d!k.
-
That trans player wasn't particularly good - not a dominance problem. Had no problem getting along with teammates. No locker room trouble. No space safe trouble. None of the potential legitimate problems that have been envisioned. There was no real "issue" with her participation - no problems, no conflicts. So what was the "problem" in that case? No real problem except Politics and Intolerance. But that is a point I didn't get to yet... The NCAA has had trans rules in place for years. That were directly focused on how to allow trans women to compete in a way that wasn't problematic and didn't create 'real' issues on the team. This is why you haven't heard of any problems until very recently ... because there weren't any. We didn't need an executive order to deal with an incredibly small issue that has been dealt with successfully by smart people for years. It is just more political theater, used to manipulate the emotions of those that aren't informed.

@mspart I'm not going to split this into a "D's" vs "R's" thing - because that's just stupid. Politics only have something to do with it because some small minded politicians decided they wanted to blow it out of proportion and make it into a political issue. Let's look at it from a common sense perspective instead. The NCAA is a big organization - with some 1,100 schools and over 500,000 student athletes. How many trans athletes of the 500,000+ athletes were participating in the NCAA? Less than 10 in all divisions. How many trans athletes: Had any kind of issues with locker room usage? Zero. Had any kind of issues with any safe spaces? Zero. Had any kind of issues with physically dominating others in their sport? Zero. Were involved in any kind of gender problem whatsoever? Zero So is the outrage out of reality? Or is the outrage manufactured for political reasons? The 2nd one. How many non-trans NCAA athletes were involved in sexual misconduct/violence in the last year? MANY When you have a child that is born with both male and female parts, it is often left up to the parent to "assign" the gender (rather than drown them at birth as had been done in the past.) Why? Because the child is NOT CLEARLY BIOLOGICALLY MALE OR FEMALE. So @mspart, girls are girls and boys are boys, except for a small percentage (~1%) of children. When the "assignment" turns out to not match who the child becomes as they grow up, that's what this is really about. If you have a heart, it's a difficult not to have empathy for the child's position. It's a tough spot to be in. Don't hate on them.

That one's easy to explain. Musk buys a bunch of DOGE coin when it is low. Then he gets on xwitter and posts about what a great investment DOGE coin is. The DOGE coin value spikes up in value, then Musk sells his off. Instant profit. No cost, no consequence. This isn't fictional, this actually happened. But isn't that illegal? It should be, but cryptocurrency is 'somewhat' anonymous and doesn't have the protections and oversight that traditional financial institutions have. So why use crypto? No good reason, unless you are a criminal trying to bypass the law. Wait - so why does Musk like crypto so much? See the line above in bold. Remember, Musk is the guy who stood up in the recent presidential inauguration and did a couple Nazi salutes. He seems to relish having enough money to do terrible things in front of the world and to be able to get away with it.
-
The Musk DOGE derelict hackers are collecting full legal names, social security numbers, financial history, detailed medical history, bank account information, etc. and will be able to do whatever they want. Sell to the highest bidder? Absolutely they could. Trade with a hostile foreign country? They could do that. Sell bits and pieces to insurance and medical companies? Yes that, too. (Note that they have no obligation to follow HIPAA regulations and such.) Or some combination of all of them. Or more? Yes. Train AI? Yes, likely. Google is the 5th most valuable company in the world. And what do they primarily do? Collect and profit from collecting data. Something the typical US citizen still has no clue about. The government knows better, and they should be protecting the US citizens rather than trying to put themselves into a position to profit from them.
