  2. Normally I would chuckle and laugh you off, but honestly this year is as likely as any that the D3 champ could also win the D1 bracket. 125 is a mess and conference schedules are only giving an illusion of order rather than the reality of chaos.
  3. The city had barely recovered from the Great Chicago Fire caused by Mrs. O'Leary's cow when a new battle came up. Those same business men you cited were already busy valiantly serving their brothers and sisters in the Great Ketchup War of 1851. It was either let Northwestern keep its name or let Big Ketchup win and thank god those brave men said "Up with sport peppers, down with Heinz! The Oregon Trail will never happen!"
  4. It was established when it was located in the northwest region of the country.
  5. Deceptive subscription and cancellation methods are always a boost to the P&L
  6. This one puts the gold in black and gold. Shut it down this isn't just comment *of the day, no... this COTY
  7. Askren will never be the best with little kids because he is one of the rare ones that understands running kids into the ground with 140 matches is an awful benchmark. Oh wait...
  8. Askren isn't leaving to coach. He's just leaving. Unless it's some weird ass NAIA school which knowing Askren wouldn't be a shock that's he's playing close to the vest still. He won't find a competent assistant in his deficiencies because they are all ready for the next step and the overlap is too much for Askren's expectations (Scott, Ramos, Jaggers, etc). If he does go to college it's going to be an NAIA or D2 school that doesn't care about him being weird on a professional level.
  9. Finals for sure. Only Nolf can beat him at this point and he is a major underdog at the senior level, no matter how many strides he has gained. That's not a knock on Nolf, that's acknowledging that even an aging JB is a mf'n dog. Now watch O'Toole lose NCAAs and win the 74 spot lol
  10. I know upsets always happen, but there is no way Trumble takes out Kollin Moore day one to have the honor of losing to Snyder.
  11. don't be obtuse.
  12. I heard he is popular with the kids in Wisconsin and Fargo, ND and Happy Valley and Columbia, MO and...
  13. 57 - Spencer Lee and along the way he beats at least two of Richards (kills me), Gilman, and Vito. This is by far the most fascinating bracket with Gilman, Vito, Fix, Richards, Lee, Suriano, and possibly but very doubtful Gross (65). 65 - Yianni over Lee. But I'm leaving myself wiggle room and if he cuts down, for the first time ever I'm picking Retherford. 74 - JB takes out Dake in what is now considered a major upset 86 - Taylor breaks a sweat over Zahid/Brooks winner. 97 - Snyder over Moore 125 - Like a dog chasing a car for no good reason, Steveson just can't resist beating up his little brother Parris. I really want to see Gwiz/Kerk run into each other. I know this isn't the Gwiz of old, but he is such a dynamic 125 and I feel like he would give Kerk fits.
  14. That's why I used a pic of a youthful Jersey Shore Willie

  17. I did not have "Forum posters find peace and unity on page 11 of an AJ Ferarri thread" on my 2024 bingo card
  18. Oh don't worry we are on the same page. But any chance I can put a huckster on blast imma do it
  19. Counterpoint:
  20. MFF obviously
  21. He has trouble handling the Focus audience
  22. This is the only time I have ever been in support of a 0:01 injury default. Qualify the weight for OG then get the heck off the mat and avoid injury. I would feel different if we didn't know what happens by missing the OG slot. Strategy>Mat time.
  23. Gomez looks like crap until he brings home a world medal with his go big or go home style
  24. Ok cool
