  1. No one has used basic since 2012. I call shenanigans.
  2. I know a lot of gym light inspectors who dress like that
  3. Not having enough fun. It's why he stomped Taylor's toe.
  4. I'm very uneducated on this particular point so could someone ELI5 please. Why would a small school choose not to opt in to the revenue sharing model? What are the advantages and disadvantages as it relates to small schools
  5. Yazdani was the heavy favorite going into the gold medal match against either guy on the other side of his bracket. Then he tore his shoulder. Injuries suck.
  6. You see the broader point I'm trying to make though, right?
  7. But bringing in Ferrari is a great way to get rid of Bono the moment the inevitable blowup happens.
  8. Captain Full of Crap strikes again. For all we know, "family" could mean someone on twitter who claims to be Ryder's uncle 7x removed and twice divorced. And of course when this randomly gets deleted it's like it never happened!
  9. It may cost pro dreams, but it also may help them. He has three years of wrestling left and he will also be able to use 2025 as a medical RS for football leaving him with three years over there too. His trap will be senior wrestling season - he can't play spring ball if he wrestles, and if he wants to have any shot whatsoever at the NFL then he will need to dedicate whatever time he has left. It seems very unfair to punish the very rare athlete of his caliber with the sport restrictions. Once again, death to the NCAA. Yr FB WR 23-24 RS RS 24-25 DNP-1 1 25-26 MD RS 2 26-27 2 3 27-28 3 4 28-29 4 X
  10. If Zain Retherford comes out of retirement for the second time does he get the Gable Steveson treatment where people say they are tired of his act after making the decision to walk away from a world championship to pursue a high paying career opportunity, only to return to wrestling, then walk away again, only to return again? Just asking for a friend.
  11. Spotted Cow is great but a pack of Moon Mans is where it's at
  12. You have to go to Indiana if you want the top secret Iran scoop
  13. Would you dump greco if it meant ten MFS and ten WFS weights?
  14. Carl must hate Paycom so much. First it poached his golden goose and now they're bringing back the national duals with big baller financial prizes.
  15. Only if they can guarantee reviews will be 25 minutes or less though. I would be curious to know the average number of bricks thrown per match and the average review time. I'm sure either UWW has this, or at least N3xt Sports has been tracking since partnering with UWW. Next logical step is to introduce a better number of mats per venue per day to combat unused mat time spent on reviews.
  16. All while indulging in the sniffing of one's own farts
  17. Brooks better be scared to bump up. He only gets his underhooks from one deity but Yoshida gets his underhooks from Buddha AND Allah. 2 gods > 1 the math speaks for itself
  18. Additionally, for weights without a Final X medalist the US Open champ is not allowed to also enter World Team Trials.
  19. We have been over this for weeks. His nickname is Lieutenant Farva why is this so complicated people.
  20. Under those circumstances, Bo would surely give his Hodge to Nolf he was clearly a better pure wrestler right? When Bo was trying to shake hands and play pat-ass Nolf was throwing Winn-Dixies innovating the sport.
  21. Plot twist: Haines goes 184 and Welsh goes 197
  22. As a millienial, I saw it coming the moment all the Gen X and Boomer parents started making those participation trophies for all my kids club tournaments recognizing my great accomplishment of taking 6th in a 6 person bracket.
  23. Current and future Iowa transfers obviously
  24. US Open is wrestled first and each winner gets a spot at Final X. WTT will be second and only compete in the following weights, with the winner getting the second Final X spot due to lack of olympic/world medalist: 65 70 79 92 [likely given Taylor's retirement] 97 125 It's the same schedule as since Final X was introduced. Olympic Team Trials is the anomaly every fourth year.
  25. Returning olympic/UWW medalists get a bye to Final X if they choose to stay at their weight. US Open champions get a spot at Final X. World Team Trials will only have weights where a returning medalist does not accept their Final X spot at the weight in which they medaled. Think of WTT as Last Chance. The US Open has had its prominence restored. WTT on the other hand now gets wrestled in a high school gym so that's frustrating but a different conversation for a different day. https://assets.contentstack.io/v3/assets/blteb7d012fc7ebef7f/blt051b85245c89683d/674106c19325fc8037f74f2d/2025_MFS_World_Team_Trials.pdf Last year was a very down year for the US. Only five returning medalists - one is retired (Taylor) and there is no guarantee that Brooks (or maybe Dake?) can hold their olympic weight. It is also very weird to not see Kyle Snyder's name on this list. 57 Spencer Lee 61 Vito Arujau 65 70 74 Kyle Dake 79 86 Aaron Brooks 92 David Taylor 97 125
