We all know the HWC outperformed the NLWC at the Olympics. Spencer had the best performance of any man. Zain went 0-1, RBY went 0-1, Dake got 3rd (was favored to win), Snyder got 5th (was favored to medal).
The bigger story is that the NLWC is going through major turnover.
DT left the NLWC to become head coach of Ok State.
Jimmy Kennedy left NLWC to join DT's staff.
Zain is retiring to take a job on Wall Street; he has concussion issues that are ending his career.
Nolf is moving to Texas to pursue BJJ.
RBY just joined the Cowboy RTC.
Dake is 34 years old and sounds like he might be retiring
Gilman is gone.
Iowa meanwhile is adding Stephen Buchannon and Jacori Teemer soon. They may add "Gabble" if he gets cut from the Bills.
Seems like NLWC is on a downward spiral and Iowa is on the rise.
