  2. I would wager Teemer won’t be paying for housing in Iowa City this year.
  3. Tommy B says "We like our guys". Well apparently not as much as some other teams' guy! Iowa's lineup could end up being 60% transfers! 125 Cruz (transfer) 133 Ayala 141 Voinovich (transfer) 149 Parco (transfer) 157 Caliendo (transfer) 165 Teemer (transfer) 174 Arnold 184 Brands 197 Buchanan (transfer) HWT Keuter Has another top team ever had a majority transfer lineup?
  4. Teemer was a gigantic 157 pounder. He may need to go on the John Smith diet to make 157 again.
  5. I actually forgot they had another transfer at 149 - Kyle Parco. 60% of their lineup is going to be transfers. Iowa lineup next season: 125 Cruz (transfer) 133 Ayala 141 Voinovich (transfer) 149 Parco (tranfser) 157 Caliendo (transfer) 165 Teemer (transfer) 174 Arnold 184 Brands 197 Buchanan (transfer) HWT Keuter
  6. With 4 AA transfers Iowa will be in the hunt for the team title next year.
  7. Wow, I totally forgot, thank you! So 60% of the starters will be transfers. Iowa lineup next season: 125 Cruz (transfer) 133 Ayala 141 Voinovich (transfer) 149 Parco (transfer) 157 Caliendo (transfer) 165 Teemer (transfer) 174 Arnold 184 Brands 197 Buchanan (transfer) HWT Keuter
  8. What weight?
  9. Iowa lineup next season: 125 Cruz (transfer) 133 Ayala 141 Voinovich (transfer) 149 Siebrecht 157 Caliendo (transfer) 165 Teemer (transfer) 174 Arnold 184 Brands 197 Buchanan (transfer) HWT Keuter
  10. Iowa lineup next season: 125 Cruz (transfer) 133 Ayala 141 Voinovich (transfer) 149 Siebrecht 157 Caliendo (transfer) 165 Teemer (transfer) 174 Arnold 184 Brands 197 Buchanan (transfer) HWT Keuter
  11. How many transfers will Iowa start next year?
  12. Iowa fans were convinced Caliendo was a small 165 pounder so the cut to 157 should be doable.
  13. $500,000 is a lot of money for 3 months of wrestling.
  14. Was he even in the portal? Buchanan is next.
  15. Why were they trashing Nolf? He faced the top seed and made it through a few rounds.
  16. Will UPenn get a huge hometown boost? And Penn State to a much lesser degree?
  17. It's total BS. Iowa is the best place for 125 pounders.
  18. Why was he a villain before? He won all his matches vs Fix in non-controversial manner.

  20. I mean it's kind of silly. They are totally different sports with completely different scoring systems.
  21. We all know the HWC outperformed the NLWC at the Olympics. Spencer had the best performance of any man. Zain went 0-1, RBY went 0-1, Dake got 3rd (was favored to win), Snyder got 5th (was favored to medal). The bigger story is that the NLWC is going through major turnover. DT left the NLWC to become head coach of Ok State. Jimmy Kennedy left NLWC to join DT's staff. Zain is retiring to take a job on Wall Street; he has concussion issues that are ending his career. Nolf is moving to Texas to pursue BJJ. RBY just joined the Cowboy RTC. Dake is 34 years old and sounds like he might be retiring Gilman is gone. Iowa meanwhile is adding Stephen Buchannon and Jacori Teemer soon. They may add "Gabble" if he gets cut from the Bills. Seems like NLWC is on a downward spiral and Iowa is on the rise.
  22. most BJJ guys immediately fall to their butts or backs to start a match. So being taken down to your back is actually better for the BJJ guy.
  23. Nolf, while the better scrambler, is probably going to do worse than Kerk because he's facing the #1 guy in his category. Kerk may also have a size advantage over his opponent.
