The court really didn’t rule on anything they just are punting it because it was presumed every president has immunity. Now they will need to distinguish in courts what they believe is official and unofficial acts. In my opinion the overturning of chevron and the fact that the SC ruled that they can receive kickbacks for rulings present far greater implications for the country as a whole than this case

I thought everyone on here was a judicial system genius thanks to the trump trial. the law suit was still filed, she withdrew for whatever reason we will never know but the guy is known to pay hush money so. The fact that it was withdrawn does not change the fact that he was named as a co defendant. the legal filings are all still there as documentation.

I just gave multiple articles reporting on it. that kind of is the definition of the media reporting on this. The victim withdrew her suit probably for a multitude of reasons just like a majority of rape victims never report. Trump is no stranger at throwing money at people to get them to be quite so that's another possibility along with all the other dangers of bringing millionaires to court, don't act so naïve. It doesn't change the fact Trump was in fact a co defendant in a child rape case with epstein himself

Asylum is a legal way of immigration it doesn't matter if you think its chaos or not, it is a legal way of immigrating here. I believe the main point of contention with the whole laptop story is the fact that is that the owner of a laptop repair store came out and said it had all these heinous stuff including CP and never gave it to the authorities, only other right wingers who also were never able to publish or prove its contents.

I think when an entire industry does everything in its power to not punish bad apples it does kind of define the whole industry. Qualified Immunity, the fact lawsuits are paid out by the tax payer and not offending police officer, and Police Unions are the reason there are bad apples
